sevier county just couldn't put it together when they needed it i went to the game and sat on the purple side.......they just got outplayed.....as for owls quarterback he is as good as advertised....... i really like the way he stepped up into the pocket and ran when he need to........ now how about good ole watson lining up at reciever last play of the half and going up against two defenders and coming down with the big catch........now that kid wants it.....i was very impressed with owls running back has a quick burst.....very explosive i was just glad we were able to catch him most of the time.....i'm not really sure what happened with watson's passing game maybe his depth perception was a little off after takin those licks?????.....all in all it was a fun game to watch.... congrats to the owls now go and kick some admiral butt cause i hate hate hate them!!!!!!!!

i say after friday we will have a better understanding of who may play in the 'boro....anyone that can catch fire late in the playoffs stands a shot..... remember high school football is all about emotion.... every team needs to go in each game with that swagger... that desire to win.... knowing that you are going to win... it's ok to be a little cocky... just not so muh that you are bound to be humbled

well if sevier county bets ooltewah..... i don't think they will lose again to the govs so for that reason i hope wb wins.... the same goes for ooltewah if they win i'm sure thet would rather see wb again because i don't believe ooltewah will allow a loss from the mighty govs... i would love nothing more than wb to absolutely stomp those admirals.... I HATE THEM..... lol... well their baseball fans anyway

i agree i think db has one of the finest programs in tennessee....10-0 on the season..... that is somethin to be very proud of..... looking at the play calling... to me it seems like several formations but basically the same play.... however you look at it... the recievers look like they run the same routes.... it's all the same crossing routes just different formations... i find that interesting...simple...AND IT WORKS!!!!.... now let's look at the playoffs... take the colts for example.. nobody questions their ability to win in the regular season...however they seem to not be able to win in the playoffs... you may or may not think the colts are the best in the league, but the same goes for DB...to me they are the best in the area year in and year out in the regular season... let's talk about the close games... sevier county 3 point ball game....bearden 3 point ball game....close games in the past within the region.... maybe these boys are kind of give out by the time playoffs get here.....it's hard to continually win in close games.... but i have a lot of respect for DB... and everyone on here should as well... as a former sevier county player i know what it's like to drive up to kingsport and play in that atmosphere.... maybe there isn't an answer to everyones questions.... maybe next year this young team will not have as much pressure on them like this group of seniors did.... they could quite possibly suprise everyone....including themselves

i think you are right sevier county defensive backs are vulnerable to the deep ball.... watson covers well and feezle makes for a pretty good safety... if you get one on one on the outside watch out cause the owls from the sounds of it will light you up.... with the nickle defense you are gonna have a stronger zone more than likely so regardless of strength on the outside for sevier county corners i think they should be able to hold this offense to minimal yardage through the air.... but we will have to wait and see.... man i'm torn i still don't know who i like in this... GO BEARS

topvol98..... great post always enjoy hearing from you... i think you are pretty dead on about sevier.... minus maybe the db's i'm gonna have to say most tackles made by linebackers with lots of safety run support.... and they like to line up in a nickle so they basically have 2 defensive backs playing linebacker..... this one is gonna be a barn burner... i remember going down to the nest in 2001 and boy did da bears get stompped.... from the looks of things this bears team has become a much better ball club... correct me if i'm wrong but i believe that was the year cory watson's older brother ryan split time at quarterback with tyler shultz and ryan basically ran the same type offense just not nearly as well as his younger brother.....regardless i look forward to the long drive to see some great 5a playoff action congrats to both teams on great seasons and making it to the second round...

i'd like to see ooltewah's season stats.... i don't know who i like in this.... i know who i want to win though....

gridironguy what's your problem they went undefeated for the first time in several years.... their schedule has been the same... so obviously it was an acomplishment... i wish people on here had a little bit more respect for other teams....
