Portland, Lebanon, Station Camp, Stewarts Creek, Trousdale, and Hendersonville. Probably 1-1 in the playoffs.

Wrong. A kid from Pumpkin Creek High has a .792 avg, 33 HR, and 44 doubles in 90 at bats. Granted left field is only 200 feet, but CF juts out to 425 feet. I heard tell he hit two on top of the distillery that's sits behind inmate garden past right field. And then there is a kid at Cornerstone Common Core STEM Magnet Academy that has 32 HR and 40 doubles in 72 at bats, hitting 1.000. I don't care if they do play in the YMCA gym, that's hard to beat.

I still thank 7-8 wins this year...Gallatin will be the favorites in 5A in 2014 and beyond. Football will be back to its former glory in a flash...getting the experienced coaches back will help them. The talent in the young classes is the best around anywhere.

Class A comes down to Skillet Creek, Hog Nut Hollow, Pigeon Creek Lutheran, and Our Lady of the Good Knight Magnet.... Im taking Good Knight Magnet over Hog Nut. HNHS had an outfielder who could hit and slide both ways, but he was ruled ineligible... Good Knight Magnet has one of the better tag-play offenses I've seen, and they got a Senior who went to Vanderbilt's camp during the summer.

Wow. They would gladly play FCS, MJCA, etc....

Gallatin will battle Beech for 9AAA. There is plenty of talent. If QB pans out, Wave could be a top 5A team. The Freshmen and Soph classes are loaded.

Gallatin will win 7-8 games this year, and then be loaded for the next few years. Most of the dominant Rucker Middle teams of the past few years are going to be at GHS.
