ssfb84 just hates the coaches b/c he didn't get his playin time... but he does have a point... after 5 yrs of being the doormat w/ only one winning season, something has got to change. the instilation of brian guthrie as OC was just one step taken to fix this program. so as a former player, i apologize for ssfb84's total spew of ignorance and bias. it hurts mewhen bitter spiteful idiots try to post here and ruin the programs image, one which i spent the better part of 4 yrs trying to build up along with my teammates. we'll have to see how everything plays out in the next few weeks as every team runs the gauntlet that is region 4-5a football... good luck to all...

A couple of things, Siegel's 130 Mastin has not lost a region match at 130. He has not wrestled everyone, (Oak) but his only two losses this year are to Cookeville and the kid from Grissom, both of which are great wrestlers. Also, Lee Larkins will be wrestling at 152 and his only 2 losses came by way of inj. default during a tied match and a match he was bumped up two weight classes by our coach, he hasn't wrestled Abrigo, Goins, or Gay, but he is a good wrestler and a returning state qualifier. Our 160 (Spaman) is pretty good as well. So is Masahiro at 140...

honestly wasnt tryin to dog you out, just sayin what happened... yes it was an iffy call, i dont think i would have gotten it called if it had been in the center of the ring and i know how it is when you try to hit a move right as the whistle blows, i am in no way,shape,form or fashion blaming you, coacht miller, or tullahoma for what happened.... thats just wrestling and stuff happens as for the email, siegel, my family, or myself had no involment in the matter what-so-ever, it was an overzealous fan who didnt think things through. i dont even know the guy. coach miller and his tullahoma club are fine wrestlers and they are very passionate about what they do. now that all that has been said... warren got soddy in the first round? ouch

both teams fought hard..... congrads to oakland on a great season and that district reagular season title.... at least the security was better than the FSU/Duke game

regardless of the outcome... both teams have had an outstanding season
