i think that it is very important to the game .. it is a time where you need a sacrifice .. move runners up into scoring position .. its not an easy thing to do either it takes some practice and concentration just like everything else in softball ... therefore bunting is very important to the game

guys really this isnt a conv. that i think everyone should hear .. there is just some things that shouldnt be publically put out ..

i think columbia academy is one of the best teams this year every year they have a chance of going to the state and always get close but with the talent this year it looks to seem like they are going all the way! if they dont do it this year it might be awhile before they have another chance like this!

Columbia Central is gonna be a team to watch out for i think .. no seniors this year !! and more talent coming up next year ..

I dont know who you are Leigh but congrats on this accomplishment .. I play for Columbia Central and we watch C-state pretty often .. Im sure we'll be seeing you out there next year .. Congrats !!

ok everyone thats kinda rude some of the stuff you are saying, we get the point .. and no one needs to quit a sport they love .. talk to your coach about whats going on before you make a decision! i sat out all last year .. i got to run for the catcher .. but i sat my time out and now i am playing !! hang in there ...

That was a very good write-up by Tullahoma .. and a good game ... i cant wait til we meet up again ! the short-stop did an outstanding job .. i dont think ive ever seen a SS go to the outfield to make a catch.

Im glad to hear that the girl is okay, even though i dont know her. we had a girl get hit pretty bad on our team .. and i know what the emotions feel like when you see a friend go down like that,

Brittany Dawson of Columbia Central is doing an awesome job at short stop .. she is just a freshmen too which mean it'll only get better

lol .. well that usually does happen .. wonder why ? but you usually get on base b/c everyone is in shock ..

yes it was a good hit .. if im not mistaking it was a double .. but not positive .. and i think its funny too about the keepin it warm jokes .. it keeps me coming back ..

When the bat broke last night it was scary .. i dont think i have ever heard a sound like that before .. everyone just kinda sat there in amazement for a sec. im glad it went between both players .. if i was the third i would hvae been scared outta my mind. That was a good game last.

Columbia played an excellent game tonight. no errors on defense and good sticks .. way to go lions now keep it up !!

I started playing softball when i was probably 7 or 8, and my grandfather came to just about every game i played. He had a long white beard that made him look like santa claus. Everyone knew he was my grandfather and i was very proud to have him there with me. I dont know my dad and he stepped in and took that role in my life. when i was ten i played for my first travel team and he got to come to one of my tournaments out of town, he was getting old and couldnt handle the heat. i remeber him being there because if i needed anything during that game he would jump at the chance to get it for me. at the end of that season my team went to the world series which was in Chattanooga, my grandfather wasnt able to go so he gave me money to do some "fun" things while i was up there. when we got there you switch "presents" witht he first team you play, we played a team out of florida. so in my bag was a hat that had a map like thing on the bill. when i came back i gave my grandfather that hat because he ALWAYS wore hats. my grandfather soon went into the hospital and almost didnt make it, he wore that hat everyday while in the hospital, i remember nurses tell me that they were amazed in had been to the world series, he told everyone. he was so proud of me. then the worse thing happened and he pasted away, i thought i wouldnt make it but i did. i got to go to the world series again when i was 14 and we came in second, it was in north carolina, since we came in second we got to fly to kansas to play in the super world series, we won that and on the way home i cried b/c while i got to go home and tell eveyrone we won it, i wouldnt be able to tell my grandfather. the more i thought about it i realized that he knew we won and he was very proud of me .. b/c even though he isnt here to tell me in person and i cant see him .. he is still watchin every game i play.

i have no idea whose responsibility it would have been but i would think it would be the umpires ..

if you look at columbias record you might not be to thrilled or think anything of it .. but go deeper into it and check out the scores of the game .. its not like every team out there is killin the lions .. dont count the lady lions out yet b/c of there record there is plenty of time to work out the lil things ..

so did coffee county not check the bat when it was given to them and when we play the umpires check our bats .. how did this bat get past them ?

i dont know how Lincoln county is now but if the lions play as good as they did against coffee then it should be good

would that be the first baseman for coffee county ?

who was the girl that was using the bat that had the big hit? if yal dont mind me asking ?
