They didn't change anything. The 4 seed from the stronger division was always supposed to play the 5 from the weaker division. And the 5 from the stronger was always supposed to play the 4 from the weaker.

When saying 'Cunningham', i hope you're not referring to Seth, because that kid can't hit his weight. However, since his weight is around 300, and that would be a decent high school batting avg, i will adjust that to say he can't even hit half his weight. Not to mention his defense leaves much to be desired.

Overton's only legit players are the shortstop, Stephen Langston, who has signed with Belmont, and a junior pitcher, Richie Goodenow, who can dominate a game if he throws strikes. Other than that, the rest are decent high school players who will never make it at the next level. CBG, i don't know where you heard that they have 8 seniors playing at the next level, but unless they've signed with Bevel State or somewhere like that or some crappy juco, i'd find that hard to believe

Wow, yall are giving Overton way too much credit. They have yet to prove themselves, and the comment about them being able to 'walk through 11AAA is funny. Franklin, Ravenwood, and Brentwood will all give them stiff competition. Overton is good, no doubt, but to throw them in the same category as Farragut, Knox Halls and Houston is jumping the gun. They've got to get out of the district first

Throw Brentwood and Centennial into the upset column as well. Brentwood got upset by McGavock 3-1, and Centennial was upset by Hunters Lane 7-4.

Well then your standings need to be updated because Centennial is 14 with Overton being 16, and Brentwood being 40. Brentwood (22-7, 11-2) swept Centennial this season and went 1-1 with Overton, and Brentwood has now wrapped up the 11-AAA title with Centennial being 2nd and Overton 3rd. Seems to me that it is in fact off

Brentwood goes 5-0 in district play this week with big wins over Overton 7-0, and Centennial 5-4, and has all but wrapped up the 11-AAA title with just two more district games vs. Hillwood and Hillsboro in a double header on Monday, they need one to clinch. Bruins have won 9 in a row and are now 22-7

OK, is everyone in this column forgetting how he treated his player?? He made a mistake, and a big one it was, and he deserves to pay for his actions, so let's not forget them.

Brentwood and Gallatin tied 9-9 after 9 innings in the championship game, both teams were running out of pitching and did not want to waste anymore because of district games during the following week. Gallatin was declared the champion because of a coin flip. Congrats to Blake Turner and Stuart Meinhart from Brentwood for making All-Tournament

Brentwood should dominate this year, and Overton should be the only competition but they just dont enough arms/sticks to compete. The Bruins can absolutely mash with Ashcraft, Meinhart, Turner and Welch leading the way. The only thing stopping BHS is themselves
