Congrats to Temple on your win over Grace tonight. It was good to see Seth Skogen have a great game with 30 points and Dee Newson with a tremendous effort with 20. And Josh Smith does it again on defense -- holding McMasters scoreless. Great job by Jeremy Sexton getting 12 points. This kid is really going to go places in the future. Props to the rest of the team for taking care of business tonight against the Golden Eagles. Let's keep it going.

I really don't think they will beat McCallie. I think it will either be McCallie or Temple that will win the tourney.

Great video. I noticed on the video that the guy from FC did signal a fair catch on the punt and yet he ran it back for a TD. How did the refs miss that one? Video link correction: http://www.tntempleacademy.com/site_flash/...p_Christian.htm The way I understand the fair catch rule is that the player receiving the punt or kick, may signal for a fair catch. This is to be done by raising one arm fully above his head and wave it side to side, while the ball is in the air. After making the signal, the receiver may not attempt to advance the ball. If the receiver fails to give a proper signal (arm not fully extended) the receiving team is penalized five yards for an invalid fair catch signal, marked from spot of the signal. The refs clearly missed this call -- not that it would have made much difference in the game -- but it might have made some difference.

Let's face it -- there are many of you people on these boards who are jealous of those who are successful. What are you talking about?? You're whacked!! The Temple coaches handled this in the right way. These guys have sacrificed a whole lot of their time for Temple and doing it without pay. It is about time for Temple to pay someone to take over the program. These guys have done over and above what anyone could have expected them to do with their other responsibilities (especially Mr. Skogen). If anything, the administration should be ashamed of themselves for not taking better care of these guys and being thankful for all they have done with this football program the last few years. They are not "jumping ship", they have been keeping the ship afloat, primarily on their own, the last few years. So, my hat goes off to Coach Skogen, Coach Beard and the rest of the volunteer coaches of Temple!!

As Coach Wadley says, "If you don't do any of that And 1 stuff -- nobody will beat you."

I have a pretty good feeling that Coach Skogen and Seth will be here for the rest of the basketball season. Temple will have a great year with the players they have on the team. They ought to win their region and hopefully get to the 'Boro.
