Jefferson County from 2-AAA

The game tonight bewteen West and Greeneville was rained out going into the 5th inning. West was winning 4-0 and Spencer threw pretty good. I am not sure how many strikeouts he had but the word was he was throwing 86-88 and hit 90. Greenway was on the hill for the devils and was pitching good but had no defense behind him. I think they made 3 or 4 errors before the rain came. I heard Greenway was in the mid to upper 80's and hit 91. I could be wrong but this is what I heard. Tommorow this game will begin right where they left off (top of the 5th, 0 outs, and no count on the batter.) This game will begin at 4:30, then the loser will play East at 6:00 and the winner will face Jeff Co. at 8:00. Should be three very good ballgames.

Whoever puts a CAK player, esp. Cooper, up against those guys deserves to lose. He's a decent player but nothing compared to the other guys mentioned on this thread.

I just want to know how Morristown West is 1st in this poll which includes teams in all of upper east TN but in there conference the are in 4th at 3-3 and have not even played the number one team in the comference yet. I just think that you should give the other teams in district 2AAA some credit. I think that Greeneville, Jeff Co, and M. East can beat all of these teams when playing decent.

Actually Jhonny the score was 16-2 and Jeff Co. finally played to their potential. They swung the bats the entire game, pitching was great, and defense was almost flawless. I actually think that everyone in their starting lineup had a hit. Bowman was 0-2 with a K and got jammed his other at bat. Ausmus and Chapman both had 2 hits. One of Ausmus's being a bomb and Chapman had a double and a triple. Good luck to the Patriots for the rest of the season.

I know West got beat by Jefferson County 7-6 in a great game. West plays East tommorow in a double header and will be pitching Spencer in one of those games and Jeff plays Cheerokee. How did the rest of the IMAC teams do?
