  1. I agree GC, Milan is a great program that deserves a lot of respect. They put a great team out on the field each and every year. Also, I would say Huntingdon in the West. They also have an outstanding program and we will see where that goes now that the Mansfield era is over! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. This is THE rivalry for Westview, so i do not see Westview getting blown out! Yes they are young and yes they are injured but this is the BIG GAME each and every year and you always find a way to compete! Milan is loaded this year and I will have to take them in the game by 2 TDs but i am rooting for my Chargers in the upset! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. Good picks, actually the same 4 I had in mind! But i'm looking for Milan to go all the way! I believe it is there year to knock Alcoa off of their throne! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  4. Praying for him in Weakley Co.! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. 47 can't be bottled up if that O Line plays well. This one will be won in the trenches like I said earlier! The big boys will get it done tonight! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  6. Football is a team sport, always has been and always will be! No one man is bigger than the team, whether he is the best player on that team or not, he cannot do it without his teammates. That is something people really do not look at these days because it is all about that one superstar, but if that superstar was on the field by himself with 11 players coming at him, he would not be the superstar everyone loves. Play and simple, you play to win team championships, not Mr. Football, Heisman, MVP, or anything else! If you step out onto that field and you're playing for yourself and individual accomplishments and not for your teammates, coaches, and fans, then you don't need to be playing! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. Its senior night at Westview and those Seniors have watched the last 2 sets of seniors lose their Senior Night! This group will not let that happen to them! The Chargers know they need this one for the playoffs! Focus boys! Chargers by 21! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. Jobronski Gilbert of Milan /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  9. Colton Speed of Union City is having a great year! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. At this point I think it may be about set in stone.... Milan USJ Westview JCS That should be how they sit come the final whistle of Week 10! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  11. Milan starters for the 1st quarter and the bench the rest of the way! This will probably turn in to a JV game! Good luck to both teams! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Colton Speed is a very good player. MVP? I don't know, but he should definitely be in the running! Watched him against Westview and he gave them fits. Without the turnovers it might have been an upset! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. Your right GC, things are a lot different from last years team but that is due to lack of experience! Last years group was full of talented seniors and this years group is full of talented underclassmen, so some things had to be changed for the time being, but they are playing hard and winning games and thats all you can ask of them! As far as the QB goes, he has played many different position while at Westview, QB being one of them. QB just has not been what the coaches wanted him to focus on the past couple of years so he is rusty, but he is helping the team win games, offensively and defensively! But the trenches is where it will be Friday night and i'm sure your boys are ready to battle GC, see you there! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  14. Westview knows whats on the line in this game and thats a playoff spot! 2 wins and Westview has basically written their ticket for the playoffs! Coach Coady and the staff will have the boys ready for this one and I expect to see Westview pound with the run game all night long! This one will be won in the trenches! Take care of business Chargers! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. Justin Coleman- Milan QB Jobronski Gilbert- Milan RB Overbay- USJ QB JC Griggs- Westview FB These 4 should definitely be all region first team! Also, there should be a pretty good mixture of Milan and Westview offensive lineman on the first team as well. Both O Lines have played well this season! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. There is no discussion....Another region win for Milan! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. Another region win for Milan! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  18. This could be a MAJOR upset if the jackets could pull it out, but I believe McKenzie will control this game....Rebels by 17! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  19. Hmm....this one is a real tough one for me! Of course I wanna go with my Chargers, but USJ has been very surprising this year, and this game is big for both teams. This is the one that decides who finsihes 2 and 3 to Milan in the region. Westview's secondary is young, hopefully they will get their banged up senior corner Gardner back for this game. If so, they might be able to play with Overbey and the Bruins, if not, it might be a long night. One thing is for sure though, the Bruins will get a hard dose of Williams and Griggs running right at them! I hope the Chargers pull this one out and prove me wrong! USJ- 35 Westview- 21 Prove me wrong Chargers! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  20. After watching Camden run over Westview this past Friday, I have to go with Camden! Coach Ward has those boys playing some great ball and the Travis kid running the ball looks to be a stud! I will take Camden by 14! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  21. I will have to take GC in a close one! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. I agree it should be a pretty good homecoming in Milan this week and some good rest for those starters! BTW, I wish you the best! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  23. If it wasn't for Westview hosting Camden this week, I would definitely be in the stadium for this one! it should be a classic. I will have to take Huntingdon by 7! Good Luck to the Stangs and the Rebels! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  24. Your right Chevy this year would be the year! And I would not be surprised if Coach Ward got his first win over his former school this Friday! But my trust is in Don Coady and the Chargers! Good Luck to both teams! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  25. This Region comes down to 3 teams and 3 teams only in my opinion! Milan, Westview, and USJ will finish 1,2,3. The order of how they finish will depend on 2 games. Westview at USJ coming up soon and Westview vs Milan in Week 10. I believe Westview will more than likely be able to hold off USJ and secure that 2nd place spot! As far as the Milan game goes, we will talk more about that one when the time comes! Good luck to all the teams in Region 8-2A! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
