QB ZAC WHITE, DAVEY BURKE, ZACH KING, All Sr's caught up in the splitting of their Sr. class, and a coaching change to go along with it. All 3 better players than their record shows!

The problem with Wilson County Football is the Wilson County School board. What do you expect when you go into 2 athletic programs and make them 3. It is going to take more than 2 seasons to recover!! Unfortunatly it is the athletes who have suffered for the decision that Wilson Central should start with a Sr class. I don't hink the school board took into consideration the damage it did to the students, and the athletic program. Many of the wilson county students are missing out on recognition, and scholarships in sucessful programs that each school put alot of effort into establishing. This could have been avoided if the school board had considered starting the school with a freshman or sophmore class, Football is just one of several of the programs that are suffering at each school!! The school board did not do what was best for their students or their athletes. I'd think twice before blaming it on the coaches.. : [Edited by BALLER on 9-16-02 11:40P]

So Converse, it apears you were in Knoxville to see the Elite and Flames play, but when have you seen the Nike team and the Mustangs play. Just wondering what it is that you are basing the judgement that they are better than everyone else on! And remember the best team, or lets say that the team with the most talent, doesn't always make the best team!
