Whew...should be a great game. Whites Creek gave it their all last year, and we barely escaped with a win. We better show up ready to play. Either way, it's good to be home again...! Go Blue!!!!!

Westmoreland was always a powerhouse back in the day when all of Sumner County's schools were made up of strong, small communites. Given the growth of Sumner over the past several years, Westmoreland is pretty much the last of those small community-oriented schools in this county. I applaud them for the heart they show week in and week out. They put in a valiant effort against teams whose schools are often much larger in size, and in this case, a private school, where talent is lured in. Go Eagles....

Portland is always good. Chalk that up to good coaching. Are we getting close to a Greenbrier/ Portland showdown, either in the playoffs, or in M'Boro? You tell me.....

Did Station Camp make that big of a dent in Beech's enrollment? It seems as though it did, seeing that Beech is moving down to 4A next year.....That's makes a big difference in their results so far this year. Then again, I looked for them to be at least a little more competitive than they have been so far. I am surprised with their record and their effort thus far. Anyone got any insight?

Just heard on CoachT Friday Night where they thought that Pope John Paul is in Wilson or Rutherford. They then went on to discuss the strength of Rutherford and Wilson County football. Just wanted to clarify that the strength they are discussing is in Sumner County...

I have been listening since 9pm and have only heard TWO scoreboard updates. Too much else, not enough scores. Most everyone is turning in to hear scores, but very seldom do they give them...Anyone else share my frustration?

I have noticed that we haven't got to paint our field any this year. I guess that is a thing of the past, as we now have to share our field with WH-Heritage....Man, the split is still killing me.
