  1. You have our prayers, please update her condition as she recovers. Sounds like she has good start!
  2. Glad your time with the SSS / Flight was good! However this post was never about 16's only, Showtimes starting tread was about all of Shelbyvilles age groups. Further others were also letting readers know that they also were going to have teams! No issues, until Sidetrain another SSS poster with bias like yourself stated that SSS was the Best / Only option. Many who have played with SSS and who have not have had issues with the SSS that are real whether you choose to believe this or not! Showtime has not gained much respect amongst the other coaches in TN not because of SSS success and yes they have had much. But because he constantly shows a lack of class and respect to others both on and of the court, at least for this year his actions caused his removal from the bench. This is just an example that all of the SSS / Flight organizations actions are not positive for the them or TN AAU. So again the SSS / Flight is just one of the many good options open to TN girls AAU basketball players. And I wish all organizations good luck and good basketball! By the way if I have gramatical errors I will live with them, as this is not an english class or we would all be failing.
  3. Not everyone wants their child being handle by a coach who can't handle himself with maturity and with respect for others. So the Flight as Rob stated is only one of the many good options the state of TN enjoys. Good luck to all in school ball and again when AAU kicks off!
  4. No the content of TNwareagles post and her involvement with THE SSS make her comment on the 15's a SSS Vs. PRIDE and they both have their issues, just talk to Showtime7 (advise don't talk to Showtime7) if you think the SSS does not have its own problems.
  5. This should be moved along with the others in the College Signees forum!
  6. If you look back you will see that I certainly do not agree with Prides forfeiting of the game for a variety of reasons. However the Pride did not have to have one of their main organization / coaches removed from coaching because he could not coach with class and respect. Thus I think the TNwareagle's Shelbyville / Nike bias maybe showing through in this post. Seems as though both organizations maybe loosing perspective!
  7. I'm an adult I think, and don't have an interest in either team but ducking is ducking and is not at all fair to the other team who traveled to play and was scheduled to play, they lost a game they were entitled to play. And who knows maybe they would have beaten the Pride anyway. But at least it would have been an honorable way to handle the concept of a tournament which is to play who and where you are suppose to. As far as TN goes the point about posting is true it does no any good to go back and fourth about the issue but it also does TN reputation or the Prides any good to forfeit by choice in a national tournament.
  8. Know that Bama would really like to have her, but last I heard she had several others teams chasing her and probably had it down to 5 teams. She is an exceptional player! Good luck to her wherever she goes>
  9. I'm not a Shelbyville or Nike fan but at least they played the teams in their pool straight up without dodging or forfeiting to anyone. Backing out of a scheduled game deprives the other team of a chance to play that game and thus cheats them. If you are a good team play as they come don't try to dodge anyone. It is not savy to allow someone else to not be able to play so that you might be able to dodge someone that will beat you until a latter round. I think it says more that Shelbyville was on time and showed up to play when and who they were suppose to. Losing with dignity beats losing without dignity.
  10. Sorry but the best team in the country is the team that won the championship, thats why they play the tournament. I believe pool play followed by bracket play allows for the results of the tournament to indicate who is #1. I would rather it be a TN team but it was not and they had their chances.
  11. Wow a softball team that beats all others by at least 19 points, they sound like a strong buch to be that much better than everyone in softball. And if by chance the Scott Co magic is a basketball team I would be willing to bet that they are not all official 14's, as Onieda has had a team that has cpompeted with 13s but has 14s on it also. Anytime a team is some much better than anyone they play in an age group but the team never goes to substates or states theres normally a reason and the reason is that this requires age certification through birth certificates.
  12. Folks it was not the State and they are just 9 and 10 year olds get a grip
  13. Based on CoachT's home page I would bet his next job is at MTSU, he will be quieter or not be there long.
  14. Showtime 7 it seems that you are typically personally attacking those who have either left your program or who don't think SSS or the Eaglettes are the ultimate in basketball. Both programs are good but there are better in any given year, witness no Shelbyville in the State Tourny and only one State champ in any age group last year for the SSS. However it seems as though your issue with CPG and Tiffany have pushed you passed your normal personal attacks and into a loss of perspective. I don't think that you want to be telling the state about the Villes recruitment of past players and any other issues in an effort to discredit these individuals, as you will be opening up the Ville to those who will point at these past player movements to the Ville as problems for the school and its NEW coach. Further Wareagle one day you won't have a player in the SSS system and just like Tiffany you will be open to attack, you are only protected while helping the SSS to be successfull not when you no longer have thing to offer the SSS. Showtime 7 I would just pass on posting any further on this, but what the Heck tells us all more if you really need to.
  15. I'm not sure that a famous quote is a quote that apparently only you have heard, or that you think is famous because it gives you the opportunity to belittle someone. Why are you attacking Tiffany it appears that she does okay without you and you do okay without her! I would guess that you did'nt create Tiffanies abilities, either physical or mental (I know you think you did but I believe it came than a little higher than you), and I would think that she developed her own work habits, so the best that you can claim if that is important to you and unfortunately it appears it is, is to have focused her talents and basketball savy some. I think by attacking Tiffany in your response you may have made CPBG06 point about the Sport Shacks using of players look more probable than some would have expected, otherwise you would not be discrediting someone who was also good for the Ville. Oh well have a good day!
  16. According to the girls AAU site, the Memphis Lady Elite and the Lady Knights finished 1 /2 in the North 13 Div 2 substate. Also I have seen information that indicated that the Cleveland Hoopstars and the Chattanooga Hotshots finished 1/2 in the South 13 substate. I don't think that the 13 Div 2 had teams in the E or W substates.
  17. Not all teams competing have the ulitmate goal of a National title and if they did there would be very few AAU teams to come to tournaments and thus provide you with the fundraisng opportunity that a tournament provides. Over 1/2 of the teams registered have no intention of chasing the Nationals dream, but they do help fund AAU BBall and other teams by attending their tournaments. I have managed, worked, and provide all others positions of support in tournaments for all ages over the years. If you are going to charge a entrance fee that is typical of a well run tournament then you need to supply qualified officials, score and clock keepers, or don't charge as much as you are not supplying qualified personnel. If you can't support your own fundraiser and lets be honest thats what they are, then you should not hold one or you should reduce the age groups offered so that you can cover all the needs properly. Also since many teams are only trying to better their players and playing in State tournaments only, the only chance they have of recieving a trophy is when they win one of the regional (local) tournaments that they attend, and they should at least be recognized for winning the tournament it is after all a tournament with winners and losers.
  18. Showtime7 glad to see you still have not lost your knack for being imature and classless, don't tell other people to get over attacking the SSS when you know there is some truth in what they say. Again just as during the high school season when Shlebyville lost you turned your attacks against players (Columbia) and named them directly in an effort to hurt. To name people on this board is completely wrong and to attack people by saying their children are not good enough for the SSS as you did to the Columbia player and then to say that you lost no sleep over Briana to hurt her is also wrong. It is talked about often amongst those outside Shelbyville, about how the schedules, refs, favor the SSS. But you know that happens with other large AAU organizations as well. However I don't see these other organaztions get on here and try to hurt others and twist information as often as you do. I followed this tread because I wanted to see what the results of the SRT were, but after reading the continued dialogue I believe someone needs to stop these personal attacks. The SSS is one of the largest AAU org. in the state which makes people look at you more closely, if you don't like that then you are in the wrong position. Now since you managed to skip Spree's request for results so that you could continue to attack the Memphis player very personally, could you please post the top 3 in each age group. Thank's and I'm sure you will want to attack me but I'm a little bit more difficult than the kids you keep targeting, so after your done pleae post the results
  19. Unfortunately the only posted brackets for substates are for the East unless you see something I don't.
  20. If you were involved with Buddy you should be playing in Shelbyville, as he was the director for the South Middle substate. You should have your brackets by the 1st week of next month, if you don't recieve them you could contact Peanut Cummins by going to the AAU state site listed at the beginning of the AAU section of coachT. Also you could play any weekend from the 1st week in April to the 1st week in May. Good Luck!
  21. I recently witnessed her coaching this team so I guess she is still coaching them and I know she did not move to Nashville yet!
  22. We might of had interest but you never answered questions on your firts post. Do you have a coach that has coached before in this age group, where are the girls from, where did they play last year or did they, what quality team are you trying to put together, where will you practice, and etc. According to substate records the Crush did not exist last year. Thus the questions.
  23. Sorry you could not supply any info as this is a site for information. Worries people when they can't get even basic info on an AAU team!
  24. Is this a new team, are the players mostly from a previous team, if so who? How many players will you be carrying, Who will be the coach? Thanks
