I agree. All talk about this should stop until Lebanon has no coach. My opinion, Coach Harp is not the problem.

I just hate seeing a coach being singled out as the reason for not winning. I know coaches continually try to find a way to help players win. I don't think Lebanon has many players that could go and start at their opponents.

Who could come to Lebanon and make a difference?

Antioch is getting better each week. Hope they can give Ravenwood a good game.

When schools have talent they win,when they don't they lose. Every coach in metro has won and lost. Every school has had successful seasons and poor seasons. Coaching is one of many intangibles, but players make the major difference. Always has and always will.

Coaching is important,but if your players could not start at the school you are playing then winning is going to be tough.

Pressure the QB will be necessary to slow CR. Hillsboro may be one the few teams athletic enough whose front alone can pressure him. Otherwise it will take sending more than can block and DB's who can cover.

Stratford,Pearl-Cohn, and Maplewood most years have enough good playmakers to compete with any size school.

Rodgers is believed to be the only deaf starting quarterback to ever play in Metro. He went on to play football and baseball at Gallaudet University and remained in Washington D.C., where he went to work for the U.S. Department of Labor. In 2002 Rodgers moved back to Nashville, became a construction contractor and then started his own company, C. Rodgers Construction, in Hendersonville. "So much of what coach Brown taught me on the football field helped to make me successful in my private life," Rodgers said. "He taught me some hard life lessons."

Donovan is as good as any I have ever seen. He is a very hard worker and very knowledgeable of high school athletics.

I am probably alone in this thinking ,but I am not a believer or fan of 7 on 7. It has some value I guess,but it is not football. Neither is P.E football.

. I really liked bowl games. I also liked it when only 2 teams went to playoffs. 13 games is plenty to be state champ.I t was also nice when everyone played each other.

I hate to say this but coaching is way over rated. It will have more to do with talented players than anything. Usually the team with best players win. When talent is equal coaching will enter into outcome. Execution on the field and fewest mistakes will have a lot to do with outcome also. The most important season for college and pro is with the addition of new players. Recruiting is and always has been the most important season in football. Coach K get the players out and good things will happen. Bottom line.

What was Coach RA's record while at Riverdale? I still think many people would be very pleased with that record over the same number of years. In my opinion the record would be pretty much the same had GR stayed as coach. We will never know. We do know he left because of his ability to see the future.

Coach Aydelott should not be discussed anymore in my opinion. He is no longer coach and and has moved on as everyone else should. I am sure that if the season is not a good one he will be the reason. I do know this,there are many schools who wish they had the win-loss record while he was head coach. I wish the best for Riverdale and I am sure RA does also.
