D-B all the way they are on of the true great teams in East Tennessee. I just hope the Cougars can pull an upset on them.

Riverdale would have a hard time with the Admials of Farragut as well.

There is plenty to be excited about here in the Cougar Nation. This team has finally brought the local football fanbase to life. This is the first time I can ever remember that the LaFollette Middle vs. Jacksboro Middle Game is not the biggest sporting event of the year here in Campbell County. It isn't even the biggest event of the week. I know it is hard for a fan of a tradition rich program like Bearden to understand what we are going through here in Campbell County. This is huge and from what I can tell the start of bigger and better things to come.Don't worry Bulldog fans your school will bounce back from their current slump, but they won't do it Friday night.

After the big game I want to see the new Horsemen stnading there as the goal post comes down with four fingers proudly held in the air. WHOOOO!!!!!!!!

I think it is only fair to throw Oneida in to the title hunt as well. There is alot of great football tradition there.

I only write about people doing great if they actually earn it. Keep up the good work and I will continue to write about you. This season has been a special treat for me since it is my first really covering football. Keep it up and if you are a d lineman, which I think you are, you are gonna have to be cocky sonce you guys are calling yourselves the Four Horsemen. Being a Horseman is an attitude that should carry over into everything you do, I know because I was one back in my high school days along with Terry "The Lady's Man" Jennings, "The Enforcer" Preston Prim and my late best friend Steven Robbins. Live up to the name guys.

The Cows of Campbell County South would have way to much to lose by playing the real Campbell County team. A loss would shut down the already closing recruiting pipeline.

Two great programs. I'm pulling for Oneida in this one and hope the two teams face each other again in the playoffs.

Having Coach Duncan as your athletic director will pay more future dividends than you can imagine. Look at what he accomplished at Powell. The Cherokees will have a good future ahead of them, just be patient.

I think the Cougars make history Friday. The team will set the all time win mark and Chris Johnson will break the career rushing mark. I can't wait to be there.

I've got to say that D-B is one of the premier football program in East Tennessee. Any team that beats Oak Ridge at Blankenship Field has a good shot at beating anybody they play. I hope the Indians don't overlook the Smokey Bears this week. I look forward to seeing all the D-B faithful make the long road trip to Campbell County.

There is a fine line between confidant and cocky. The players I talked to Wednesday night seem to be confidant.

As a somebody who has been the victim of some high scoring Oak Ridge losses I have to say this. They do not run the score up on people. Oak Ridge is one of the classiest football programs anywhere. You do not tell your junior varsity kids not to score and the Wildcats put their JV in as soon as possible. I wish the Wildcats all the luck in the world, unless of course they face the Cougars.

Oak Ridge and D-B have the two best crowds I have personally witnessed. Science Hill is the most fun though I used to go see some of their games during my time at ETSU and its a great party atmosphere.

Bearden just needs to be patient. They have been a strong program for many years and are just in a bit of a slump right now. Support your coaches and players and give them a chance to turn things around. A little faith goes a long way.

I'll be at whatever playoff game the Cougars are at, but I don't plan on travelling to Oak Ridge. I plan on the Cougars hosting a game.

I just don't see anybod stopping Maryville from winning another state title.

Oak Ridge. They have the best back in East Tennessee in Spencer Gulmire. They also happen to be one of the strongest most tradition rich programs in the state. I see them making a very strong run for a state title.

Looking at Bearden's remaining schedule they won't be winning out. But look at it this way you guys do get to beat South-Doyle.

This team isn't winning on luck it is winning on the basis of its teamwork, strong defense, good special teams play, and an offense that is really starting to move the ball. This season is the where the Cougars finish turning the corner that they started last year. MoEast may not be that great but they just beat a traditionally strong MoWest squad, South-Doyle is not that good right now but that was a district win. Scott County was a smaller school so we beat them like we should have but that doesn't make them a bad team they play in the toughest 3A region in the state, Sevier County is a long time powerhouse and the Cougars handled them with ease. The Bulldogs will likely be the next victim of this team and then it'll be time to look to upsetting two of the better teams in East Tennessee before th big rivalry game with Karns. It's gonna be magic.

I'm in it with this team for the long run. This season has been great and I'm looking forward to a bright future for the Cougars. Tradition has to start somewhere and this year's team has continued to build on the success from last seasons team. The future is looking bright.

The only thing that can stop this team at this point is the Cougars. They will go as far as they want to as long as they don't get sidetracked or look ahead.

So are you an old school Austin Idol fan like I am? Or could you be the real deal? I'd love to know what Austin is doing these days.

I can see the Cougars winning by that. I'd love to see Billy finally hit a few kicks. I know he has it in him but I personally hope he never has to kick a field goal. I just want to see him kick some PATs.

What makes you think the Cougars will be travelling to Oak Ridge? I'm looking for this team to do well enough to host a playoff game!
