Hume Fogg wins 48-44 to advance to the Region Championship!

After suffering through a couple games and many players quitting Hillwood refused to give up. Right now Hillwood is sitting with probably 30 something players in 5a, and many sophomores playing quite a bit. They lost alot of games, but have not given up. 2 weeks ago, after coming all but close in the previous games, Hillwood pulled it together and gave Glencliff a really good game that came down to the wire. The next week they totally dominated Antioch in all aspects of the game, but Antioch capitalized on about 2 or 3 big plays, which helped them capture their first lead of the game and the win with a touch down in overtime. Hillwood might read 1-8 in the record books, but they still fight, and could pull off a major upset thursday night against Overton!

Hillsboro will kill whites creek next week by at least 21 points.... write it down.

Well we have a sophomore startin at qb, sophomore startin at wr, sophomore starting on the line, sophomore starting at cb and playing some wing, so we have alot of young players out there

Hendersonville played a great game last night, and i expect you to beat Gallatin. Mike Hart was a beast, and just leaves me wondering how come you dont use him on offense other than on that unbalanced play? I don't care how much he was limping, when ed sawyer got the ball he was going full speed, because I have never seen anyone run that fast hurt. Good luck on the rest of your season!

If gallatin can contain Antonio Lewis from Hillwood, then speed will not kill them, because Antonio runs a 4.3, and you aren't gonna see anything faster than that. Gallatin rolls in this one.

Ya, but it was 10-0 the whole game, and finally our depth got to us. There were twice as many players on gallatin's sideline, and you could tell. I will say that Gallatin had an incredible defense, and a big play offense, and has a really good shot at winnin the region. If Hillwood can just get their offense clicking than we have a chance to lock down maybe the 3 or 4 spot in the region.

Independence was a great team, and has VERY bright future! The refs were bad, but equally bad on both sides. They called a delay of game about 25 seconds after our coach called a timeout, guess they started the play clock then..... and they basically got yall into overtime with the roughin the kicker call, so you can't entirely blame the refs, but yall will be tough this year, and I'll be rootin for ya, go out there and beat Centennial 24-17 Independence is my prediction.

Hillwood is pullin out the new Uni's this friday against gallatin, and boy are they sweet.

Ya it was a great defensive game, our offense kind of struggled without jared clodfelter, or top college prospect not playing, but Lipscomb brought a strong squad, and should have a great year. Good Luck Mustangs.

O im sorry i forgot yall were D2 instead of D1 lol well yall will have a good year..... go get 'em!

Sorry if i offended you, i didnt mean to, i just didnt like how you acted like we didnt deserve the points we put on the board, we are a 5a team so I beleive you did really well considering the difference in classification even though D1 is a very tough division, I am not here to bash JP2 or anything, wish you the best on the upcoming season, I just didnt like that last post.

We scored on ur first and second string more than once, so dont try to make it sound like we werent the better team, our first D played 2 series so i mean that excuse can go both ways, we beat u fair and square so dont try to make excuses, that 80 yrd td drive on our 3rd series was against 1st D.

PJP2 will be good this year, they started out strong while hillwood started off sloppy and we ended up winning by 4 td's with one called back, but yall definately have some good players and should have a good season.

Vinny Links is a tough one, i usually take about 30 mulligans and that bumps my score up to about 65, ya and i usually lose a couple balls 2, due to pin placements, unless u are tiger woods id advise u not to play vinny links, a very frustrating course i might add.

Hillwood rolled in this scrimmage by 2 td's, but it was a good game with both teams getting a coupke bad breaks, i expect both of these teams to have great seasons, and best of luck to DCA.

Cpa will have their hands full Teusday when they play hillwood, im expectin a good match, Hillwood took out DCA 20-7 tonight.

I kno hillwood plays David Lipscomb at Hillwood, not sure waht day or time though.

HAHA Hillwood is gettin no love this offseason, just like last one, but hey look what happened, so keep on puttin us down please.

our tackles at Hillwood are 6'5 and a lil over 300, and 6'2 320

Keep putting Hillwood down near the end of the region, and you will be very dissapointed, to put Hillwood near the end of the region is crazy, with our monster line, we have 3 300 pounders on that line, includin a 6'5 315 lineman transfer from Georgia. And with Antonio Lewis running behind them, and don't worry we will have a very athletic QB back there, even if it turns out to be Jared Clodfelter. And if you are thinkin 4th quarter might become a problem with the big guys think again, the coaches at Hillwood are running the team like crazy this summer. You can keep putting this team down, but i guarantee you that Hillwood will be in the playoffs, its a promise.

Ya guys watch out for Overton, they are returnin just about everybody on a great defense from last year, i think antioch, hendersonville, gallatin, hillwood,and Overton are top 5 in no order, i expect antioch, HHS GHS, HHS to make playoffs
