  1. Anybody else hear that the Titans are going to interview Norm Chow for the offensive coordinator?
  2. I'm pumped. This is the most excited I have been about a recruiting class ever. I like how our D-linemen and linebackers all look mean. I hope hope they all put their egos aside, and things could be great for the next little bit.
  3. And no one cares that Milan won the 2004 state title every time you post, but we are forced to read it every time.......
  4. Anybody got any updates on the games today?
  5. Aw heck, I'm just trying to have some fun since this is about the 5th variation of this thread already this year. Lighten up! Have fun! thumb
  6. I'd say a airplane hanger when they were firin' up a 747 would be pretty hard to top. But that's just me.
  7. You know, you are right. At first I really didn't like the bunch formation, but over time I learn to like it more and more. We actually do a good job of utilizing the strengths out of it too and are able to run the ball as well out of it. I don't want it to be our base set, but Sanders has done some good things with it. I still contend, 3 receiver I!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Unfortunately, the principals make the decisions for their schools. I think it is a great idea in theory. The only problem I can see is that there is a bigger disparity from middle school to middle school than from high school to high school. Plus, there are a lot more middle schools out there than high schools. I don't think that it would ever have an 80% participation rate from Tennessee middle schools.
  9. That's the most sensible post I have read on here in a long time. thumb
  10. Some buddies of mine and I were talking this week, and if we don't line up in the 3 receiver I 50% of the time this year then something is seriously wrong. We have a great fullback, tailback, and great receivers. I really hope that we forget the tight end exists outside of the 5 yard line. Just a thought in case Randy ever reads this.
  11. You're right. I forgot that you are God's chosen West TN sports disciple. I humbly beg for your forgiveness. I've just been reading your posts for too long not to have some fun with it. In all seriousness, I do think Lexington can beat Liberty, but not Bolivar and will advance to at least sub-state this year.
  12. I have no idea, I live 100 miles away and haven't gotten to see them play this year. But surely you didn't schedule Humboldt and Union City for all 10 out of region losses..... I just find the amount of trash you talk very funny. Football, basketball, and oh, I can't wait to see what you are like during basbeall season. And can anyone give me the district and region tournament dates?
  13. Maybe if the #2 team in the district didn't go 3-10 out of district their strength of schedule would be better.
  14. I agree. Milan is a sports town period. This may be the first time the district has been so united this year. Thanks CH for bringins us all together in your ignorance.
  15. 1. From all I have gathered his starters sat after the first quarter. 2. I don't think anyone expected a 47-7 first quarter lead. You don't exactly hear of those every day. The starters just shot lights out. 3. Using that logic, why did Urban Meyer leave Utah? Simple, he got a better job. Oh yeah, did I mention that he is from Lexington? What coach doesn't want to go back to where he played and coach? 4. And I love the "not bashing the people of Lexington." Yes you are, don't lie. And you mention the word "class." I've read so much crap on here lately that I don't even enjoy reading what's going on. Hey Lexington-haters, if they are so bad and are just talk, then just ignore them and they will probably shut up. Listening to everyone else, they would be 0-whatever in any other district in the state. I'd be willing to bet all of the Lexington supporters are high school kids who are sitting in class laughing at all of you who get so offended. Don't you think the Coach and players know that they really have accomplished nothing if they don't make it to at least substate? Are you people really that ignorant? No offense.
  16. 1. The Pats have been there before and won before. 2. T.O. is going to be too much of a distraction. 3. They have beaten the 2nd and 3rd best teams in football by 14 and 17 points in the last two weeks. 4. Weis scored a 1600 on his SAT (that really has nothing to do with it, but does mean he is a smart boy and I thought it was cool) 5. Belichick has two weeks to prepare. He'll have a plan for T.O., without T.O., etc. I stand by my statement, NE by 14+.
  17. I just want to know if it was a misprint or if Lexington really scored 47 in the first quarter and had 73 at the half. If so, then I don't care who you are or who you are playing, that's impressive.
  18. Belicheck had two weeks to gear up for the Colts and they were shut down. He has two weeks to gear up for the Eagles, who have a good offense, but nothing like the Colts. Not even close. Pats in a landslide.
  19. No, Brady isn't the best QB in the league. He is the QB on the best team, hands down, but he is not the best QB in the league.
  20. I view T.O. kinda like I did Rodman, an excellent self-promoter. You can't compare his antics with those of Moss. Even with his self-promotion, anyone in the league will tell you that no one works harder that T.O. does to be at the top. And I believe we all know Moss' track record of working and playing when he wants to. As for the game itself, I'm finally convinced of the Pats greatness. Belichick is the best coach in the game and has created a great team atmosphere. I don't even see this one being close. Pats by 14+, with or without T.O.
  21. You're right, probably a bat girl. Sorry, you left that one wide open.
  22. Thanks, I may make a trip down to see my old middle school.
  23. As for the topic at hand with Mr. Sanders, he did better, but he's still a knucklehead on the sidelines 90% of the time. After Auburn #1, he went right back to same ol' conservative Randy again until he had to get it going against UK and Vandy because the D couldn't stop anyone. Yes, he did a good job at having Ainge and Schaefer ready, and yes, he called a good bowl game, but the fact of thr matter is that against Ole Miss, UGA, Bama, USC, and ND he went back to the same ol' Randy we all know and love. I still think UT can do better and I wish we would. Unfortunately, he does just enough to get by and until something happens otherwise he will be the offensive coordinator. Grade for season, B-.
  24. Uuuuuuuhhhhh...........besides his first game at UCLA, he basically was the starter everygame.
