What's keeping Father Ryan from making the Fiveash deal official? By official I mean annoucing it and letting the players know. Us players are tired of this whole ordeal full of rumors and lies. We really hope this doesn't drag on past the x-mas break, because the longer we wait, the more behind we will get. I know one other thing tho.... If we get all those big name coaches.... tuition will have to rise

I think Wooden would rather have this state championship w/out the mr football, than a loss w/ the mr football. Heck of a game. That guy is rediculous, how he didn't get that Mr. Football award , or even nominated, blows my mind.

I wasn't saying I am listening to this rumor; the person who started the post asked if there were any going around so I posted it. On another note, a hire needs to be made. The players have spent too much time out of the weight room together, and they need to start looking at next year, which nothing is being done about it.

I've heard one big rumor about Fiveash coming in and bringing Pittman and Tom Moore in as assistants. This would be huge..... I have no clue the credibility of this claim, but I've heard it from more than one person.....

Aaron Bateman (so.) and Alex Nolte (jr.) from Father Ryan will be forces on the defensive side of the ball, and people will be speaking highly of them come next year. Also, the Irish have a strong senior class which has a ton of experience with a somewhat lack of leadership from small senior classes the last two years. With a big time new coaching staff most likely coming in, they will be a huge surprise next year. Also, Mosby from CBHS will be a dominant force at linebacker.

I was surprised when i saw the winner for the D2 AAA backs. He beat out some pretty tough competition and almost nobody has been talking about him all year. What are his stats and accomplishments. I am not saying he does not deserve this award, I just am not familiar with him.

I've seen both of these teams play. Franklin may have a strong running game, but... Riverdale's does too...and a darn good one. Franklin is a good team, but not on the level Riverdale is. Maybe i wouldn't mind seeing Frank town pull of the upset, because I have family there, but it wont happen. Going one and one against Bwood is a bad sign for the Rebels coming into this game. Riverdale by 3 scores.

Will Jack Pittman stick w/ BA and Carlton Flatt, or will he take the job at FRHS? With D2's season over, I hope to see a hire soon....

BA drop down a class....just b/c they can't win the Clinic Bowl? This is absurd, especially when they have been there so many times. Father Ryan has won just 5 games in 3 years, and they aren't even thinking about dropping down. BA is in the right spot, but seem to be like the Buffalo Bills of the early 90's.

Hahnfeldt.... He is amazing.... In the last couple of years it seems TN has produced some good kickers with Bliss and Vaughn at Auburn and Wilhoit at Tennessee.

Week in and week out I hear people saying this is the week Riverdale can lose, or this is the week someone comes up and beats them, but week in and week out Riverdale wins big. I expect the same this week. Riverdale by at least 3 scores....

I was in no way stating that Coach Fran wouldn't be a good A.D. or head coach. He is a great coach and he relates well with players. I think the team would fare well under him. I was just stating that the offense kicked in gear when Coach Ceislack took over the play calls, not coach Fran. Coach Fran did an excellent job working with the blocking schemes.

Coach Fran didn't take over the offense at the end of the year, Coach Ceislack did. Headhunter, if Boots took over AD and Fiveash took the head spot, the program would skyrocket.

Knowing Langton, it could be a while. If he goes thru this business as slow as he talks, it'll take a long time.

Yes FRHS Wrestling, if Father Ryan doesn't start recruiting (aka "Financial Aid") soon, they will fall even farther behind, if that is possible. With a new principal, and if the rumors are true, a new AD, building a stronger program could be in the near future. .....well.. Nobody would be in this mess if it wasn't for Carlton Flatt...

Ryan used to have a pretty good strength coach..... I think Dunlap was his name? He was well liked by the team from what I know. Does anyone know where he is now?

Does Gary Rankin have anything to do with Father Ryan whatsoever? Why would he even consider leaving Riverdale with such a legacy he has there? Of all I've heard, the best deal would be Fiveash coming back along with Pittman as an asisstant. Can anyone who seems to have inside information tell me if that is a possibility?

What is up with all the initials? SS? GR? TM(Tom Moore?)? And why would Danny Francescon never, ever be chosen for the head job?
