I saw this movie and I may not be the most religious person but the movie DID have a good message and it did prove you don't have to curse to make a good movie. A bit preachy at times, but that's what the people who made it were going for. I give it about 4 stars out of 5, the death crawl scene is worth 3 stars alone because it's that powerful. I would recommend this to anyone who likes football and doesn't mind a religious message. I saw people crying in the theatre and laughing and cheering and rarely do you ever see that in theatres now.

Not the 1st time Rockwood cheerleaders have misspelled something... I remember a few years ago that they were playing Wartburg and had a "Beat The Buldogs" banner. I said some to the cheerleaders to the effect of how dumb can people from Rockwood be if they can't spell "BULLDOGS" (Yeah, I can be just as bad in real life as I am on here, hahaha.). But looking back I guess they didn't know better because they probably had monkeyboy spreading her infinite wisdom on how to spell back in elementary school.

With all due respect, scrimmages don't really mean much when it comes to predicitng a season because neither team plays at full-speed in a scrimmage. Unaka has a physical team but Midway's got some pretty tough kids too so if you're trying to base an opinion on a scrimmage, you might as well try to find a hamburger in India. Not trying to start anything here, just saying that you can not seriously base a scrimmage as a comparison to how either team will match up.

Should be a heck of a game. Hate to pick a team to lose but from what I saw out of Midway, Harriman could be in trouble. Midway- 13 Harriman- 12

Hampton will beat Sunbright or Oneida, THAT'S a given. Cosby and Midway OR Harriman could go either way but I'm leaning more toward Midway or Harriman winning that one. It's POSSIBLE there could be a split but I don't think Cosby, unless I'm mistaken, has really played anyone except Hampton and they were without Townsend. That could play a factor cuz Midway's played some tough competition and so has Harriman.

I can tell you Region 2 will not sweep but they have a pretty good chance at winning 3 out of 4 of the first round games.

Good point. It's just a matter of finding a ride with somebody since I don't think my usual ride for the away games is gonna go. Plus my car's screwed up (again) so I pretty much have to find a ride there.

This should be an interesting battle between Sunbright's offense and Oneida's defense. I'm thinking that this isn't going to be a very high scoring game but Sunbright just has too much offense to be stopped. Sunbright- 14 Oneida- 13

Coalfield's got a pretty good shot this year. It won't be easy but I think this might be the best Coalfield team in quite some time and they could definitely shut the nay-sayers up when Region 2 brings home the gold ball. THEN WE'LL SEE WHO'S GOT A "WEAK REGION"!!!

Well, since I can't nominate myself on the sheer fact that I always made monkeyboy so mad they broke character... my nomination goes to CYJacket.

I think I was the one who inadvertantly got monkeyboy exiled... or so I thought. I think the monkey's altar ego is still lurking around. Now as for Otis... I'm sure we'll all think of SOMETHING to shut him up.

All roads are gonna lead through Region 4 in Single A and to be blunt, South Pitt would be lucky to finish in the top three in that region. I don't concede to any region hardly ever but even I have to admit it's gonna be awfully hard for ANYONE, Coalfield and South Pitt included, to topple anyone in that region. One post said it best. South Pitt fans are like Alabama fans, they need to quit living in the past.

Only an idiot would compare an average player like Kasey Perkins to a college prospect like Brandon Davis. How many 200 yard games has Kasey had? I rest my case.
