Is Sycamore still throwing the ball all over the yard without Garza?

What is everyone's predictions on the game, and is this becoming a rivalry.

Does anyone know all the teams that are playing in the jamboree Friday night at Columbia, and possibly the times for the games.

Stratford on Monday and some one in the Columbia Jamberee on Friday

I believe the score was Creek Wood scoring twice o Waverlys varsity and giving up no scores.

Catfish you are right Vaughn is still going to be running down people's throat, but I am telling you don't be surprised if Creek Wood throws it a few more times this year. Last year alot of the time the passing game lacked due to blocking on the line. The O-line could open up some holes for the running game but couldnt quite keep them of the qb, but they're are all bigger and stronger and should be able to give some time this year. In the skelly against Fairview, Thiel's main target was Steverson,who is splitting time at wideout and running back. Oh yea and Creek Wood does throw the ball.

How did the skelly turn out? I heard that Creek Wood pretty much shut down fairview when the first team was in, and just throw it all over fairview.

GB ask your guys from Fairview about their last trip to Creek Wood, only the third best team in 10AA.

Doesnt seem to be many seniors in that group. Looks like next year in District 10 AA will be just as exicting as this year. Also doesnt Fairview join up next year?

District 10 AA is very tough , and Harpeth has an excellent baseball team which will do well in the district tournament. But there was a total lack of focus and effort by the Creekwood defense in the first two innings last night at Harpeth. Maybe two earned runs out of ten and who knows how many errors, then all of sudden the defense makes the routine plays. You have to come to the park ready to play from the start, not at ten runs down.

What are the remaining games for each team and their records?

Creek Wood beat Houston County 4-2, and improve their overall record to 12-4. The Red Hawks have two big district games against Scyamore on Monday and Tuesday.

Creek Wood has four excellent players who play in the outfield, Cody McClanless in center , Bill Bennett in left, Ben Steverson in right, and Matt Tidwell who plays center and left. Good combination of arm strength and speed.

Any news on Justin Davis, the player from Sycamore, who had surgery?

Creek Wood beat Waverly 7-1. Creek Wood had good pitching and hit the ball hard just alot of ones right at people. Enough fell to win the game. Any results on the other games in the district.

Creek Wood needs to come to the park ready to play, which they did not Saturday against CHS. Same atitude may bring the same results

Just for information, Creek Wood has three pitchers throwin in the 80s.

I know Creek Wood will play Sycamore this Friday night at Cw in the Dickson Jamboree. Creek Wood will also play Dickson Co. and Hickman Co.

Creek Wood has a good group of juniors, all but one have been starters since they were freshman. McClanless in center, Bowers at first, Thiel at second, Steverson in right, and Lankford behind the plate. All but Lankford will also see time on the mound. When you add the returning seniors and a couple of excellent sophmores look for Creek Wood to move up in the standings in 10AA. A tough preseason should prepare this group for the extremely tough season ahead.

Playground legend In Creek Wood's case the players are given the choice if they want to play or not. This last summer the team didn't have their whole varisty squad as they won the Middle Tennesee Baseball league. All the players wished to play on the summer team at Creek Wood. Playing together in summer builds cemistry among the players. I think the players have more goals for the team than they do themselves, and realize this will help them and their team during the regular season. The compition in the league is pretty good also.

Since your asking for updates, Creek Wood has made another one to their already great field. They removed the chain link backstop, and added a concrete wall and net from one dugout to the other, really looks great. Creek Wood is coming off a great summer, where they won the Middle Tennessee Baseball League, and attended the NABF World Series. I dont believe the team is satisfied with that, and looks to be a threat in 10AA.
