  1. Who is their head coach?
  2. Shelia

    Is this true?

My only issue with Farragut was their refusal to accept the 2nd place trophy. An insult to the tournament (McCallie put on a great tournament, thanks coach) and a slap at the Eagles (intended or not). That teaches the kids a whole lot doesn't it ! Please tell me this is not true. I would be shocked if it were true.
  3. Powell played really well. Pitching kept Halls off balance the entire game! Great Start.
  4. Who do you think will replacement Coach Pemberton when he gets the Oak Ridge job?
  5. It's a shame we couldn't have been placed into Powell's region. We could have used an easy win. Guess you win hypothetical games with our kids also! Must be nice having an unlimited zone and unlimited funds.
  6. I guess it's time for us to take our 650 kids Or ours!!!
  7. As for the Catholic fans - thay are arrogant. We filled their stands & they were upset off & even tried to start fights. I too saw more than one person try to start stuff with our cheerleaders. As for the onside kick with one second left - what's with a Catholic kid kicking our player when he's on the ground trying to get up? Is that how you always play - are ya'll that dirty all the time This is typical KCHScoach and could be said by many fans or many teams. Be honest and back off me!
  8. Proves my point! Real Class hate is not all i have I have honesty and I know that statement is not true. I could be from anywhere in Knox Co and have the same feelings.
  9. But Catholic wins with class. They don't take cheap shots. This is not a true statement.
  10. We always played them close and they were very good games. Yes showed us what we needed to work on BUT i had rather win also.
  11. HaHaHa great last line! That is why I like debating with you FD.
  12. I believe Powell kept Lenoir City and South Doyle as their non-region games. Now thats smart scheduling. As would getting CAK . CAK, Lenior City, South Doyle I like it alot! I know Powell tried to get CAK as did Fulton and Carter. I bet Webb and Catholic tried also. Take your balls and leave town. baaak baak baaaak Elizabethton, Sequoyah, Seymour WOW those will be fun for your players..... good hometown rivalaries !!!
  13. NOT cak they are traveling for expected victories instead of playing in town oh those private school budgets! must be nice
  14. You're right.... A Catholic kid made a stupid choice and you can remember it still today. Probably should have sat out... What would people remember if it was 8 Catholic players and not just one? Things like this have happened in MANY Knoxville area schools. We have had our share of problems that were made public regarding player behavior. It is not an AE thing or a Catholic thing.
  15. Do you think it makes since to go to Upper East Tennessee when you could play across town or just down dutchtown road? Going a long way and spending alot of money for a win i guess.
  16. Thank you! We came on strong and some young players stepped up. Confidence breeds success! I can't imagine why CAK would travel to upper east tennesse when local schools (that they have played well against) are very willing to play. I am very surprised.
  17. Any idea Why CAK would not schedule Powell and why they dropped Webb?
  18. Ya'll will make our schedule (CAK) even tougher than it was. We only had 5 district games so we've had to pick up 5 non-district games. Can you explain WHY CAK would not play Powell and why they dropped Webb? You have always beat us in the jamboree.
  19. I saw it devil! But why even bring up Powell? I don't get it. I do agree about CAk and maybe even Catholic. Even Maryville will find out that being the biggest school in AAAA was a huge advantage for them.
  20. Why bring Powell into this? Comment makes no sense unless you are just trying to rip on Powell! Why not mention CAk and Catholic? They are private schools in the same area. Sounds like Webb made the right move. I have had discussions with CAk and Catholic parents and CAK is in one heck of a mess. They should have gone DII with Webb. Catholic will be OK.
  21. FootballDad is correct--we are in the midst of fundraising to add to the campus center-wrestling room, concession, bathrooms, storage--little over half way there so maybe in 2010 our kids can celebrate their senior year with bathrooms . Few wins would be nice too. Guess the word is out about you losing a big booster in the midst of the campaign. Which program will get the money now? Our bet is McCallie or Baylor.

  23. Depends on the number of students. I think a small AA school might fall into the Div II small division.
  24. Article 1, Sec. 3, of the Bylaws reads as follows: Section 3. For tournament competition there shall be two categories. Division I shall be schools whose student-athletes competing at the varsity level do not receive need??“based financial aid. Division II shall be those schools whose student-athletes competing at the varsity level MAY be the recipients of need-based financial aid. because it states MAY receive financial aid does not mean they MUST. I would think a public school could go DII small , compete and win championships.
  25. I was just wondering if a AA public school that could not compete with the Alcoa's, David Liscomb's etc... could go DII small if they fell in that division? Never heard this discussed.
