You guys are not growing as a team like your competition in your district. Take Fairview for example, yea you won that one but Fairview showed 3 times the growth as a team that you guys did. If Fairview High would invest in their girls soccer program you would not even get this much credit because they would have given you the defeat you deserved.

Zion, do not listen to this negative comentary. I see potential in thi s young progarm. I think you have the key to a growing program., that is your coach. Keep up the good work ladies, off season play and dedication. Stick together and make the program you want and something that will benifit you as individuals and groe to something special.

The word I got tonight was Robinson will be back on the field and most likely play. I went to watch the SP junior high game tonight and yet agian SP has speed to burn at all skill positions. They beat Bledsoe 42-6 with a Tyrone Robinson led O. Tyrone, yes son of Tyrone and Carla Moore. 6'3" eighth grader with tail back Montrell Mitchell were unstoppable. Cody Walker entered NJHS and supposedly may be coming back to SP next year but one way or the other I hope he gets things in order. He was at Beene Stadium this evening and looked as if he should be there.

The QB was freshman Cody Robinson. He played with great confidence. Be prepared Grundy, you will get thumped .

Thanks for the update Nick. I am relieved to hear both girls got the ok from the Doc. Two tough and intense teams playing like they want the W can sometimes get rough. Great game.

Fairview's Olivia Walter is a great player and very intimidating in goal.

Claire was taken to the hospital to be checked out for a possible concusion but the last word I got was that she was expected to be fine. She was knocked unconciouse for a minute though. This was a tough game ,scoreless at the half but Col. Acad. managed to get two goals in the second half for a 2-0 win.

Well, I hate I can't make the game. I think it's going to be a good one.... Go Jackets!!!!! thumb

Good one Jasper ! None the less, Lookout Valley should yet again be prepared to lose. As for bo4Vols, it's no mystery why SP is a contender for top spots in area football. SP is a hot bed of raw talent. The only coach they have ever had who could make something out of nothing was Danny Wilson. His record with football, girls basketball and with baseball are all proof. Just ask North Jackson if SP is not a hotbed for football talent.... thumb

Perry Hutchins should be added to this list, he played QB but was just as dangerous when on the run.

You have to give credit where it is due and South Pittsburgs Beene Stadium is the best class A stadium around and probably better than most in the area regardless of classification.

South Pittsburg's best reciever Antonio Robinson left the game in an Ambulance after colliding with a chainlink fence. Anyone have any updates? I heard possibly a leg injury.

Fairview is led primarily by Sophomores and they are a growing program. This is a team to watch that has gone unoticed until now. They might just surprise a few teams. I think Page beat them 1-0 but only scored in the last 4 minutes and Fairview lost to Harpeth 3-1 without their starting keeper in the 2nd half. GO JACKETS ! ! !
