  1. Don't know much about either team. All i know is that as long as Joe Gaddis is the coach at Henry Co. Ill be pullin for them. We miss him in Oak ridge. Good luck in the playoffs
  2. should be a good game to watch. both teams are much improved since they met in november. after its all said and done i dont think science hill will be able to handle oak ridges press they have one of the best press defenses i have seen in high school basketball. also oak ridges depth could be a big factor. norris is able to use all of his bench effectively and that pays off big in the postseason. should be a great atmosphere to watch a game in i cant wait for tomorrow night.
  3. lets go henry co!!! good luck coach gaddis and to his players. we sure miss you back home in oak ridge. im glad to see that coaches winning ways have continued in HC. yall have a great one. good luck in the third round
  4. this is one oak ridge fan that hopes henry co. pulls it out. i played on last years oak ridge team that went to the state championship game. i wish coach gaddis the best of luck and i wish he was still in oak ridge. i truly believe we would have won it all with him last year. yall have a great coach and a good man. hopefully he'll come back one day.
  5. not meaning to bash coach gray or anything but when he was at the helm of the offense it was little too one dimensional. you can argue that he produced the career passing leader but oak ridge never threw that much in the past anyway. he was a good coach and nothing against him but i think that stevens opening it up and throwing the ball down field this year is what finally got us back to the championship. once again NO DISRESPECT TO COACH GRAY WHATSOEVER. this is just how i see it.
  6. why not call the same play if farragut isnt gonna stop it.
  7. oak ridge's defense could really be great one this year with speas at the helm. they fly around the entire field. it always seems that there are 8 or 9 ridgers around the ball. i cant wait to see how they do this year.
  8. your entitled to your opinion, but its wrong.
  9. it was at least 21-14 with the starters in if not 28-14. Gulmire ran in two tds and number 21 also caught one. dont forget binghams int return for a touchdown. those were all first string tds.
  10. both teams played hard both had class it was great scrimmage with a lot of good hitting. good luck to both teams.
  11. the line this year not only has the size they also have good speed. during the summer testing the slowest 40 time for the starting o line was a 5.3 and that was by our 300 pounder. watch out for this group of guys they're gonnna open some big holes.
  12. pretty good list but there are a few things wrong. stevens- head coach miner- o coordinator qbs* speas- d coordinator linebackers and receivers* sprat- corners layton- o line and dts adams- des saunders- special teams beasley- tightends jackson- rbs and linebackers* lewis- assisting on both lines* that is what i have been told by the coaches and this list is just for spring practice after that coach stevens will evaluate the staff and we will know the actual list after spring.
  13. well oak ridge has a new coach. i met him today for the first time. I for one and gonna get behind coach stevens and try and pull the cats through. it doesnt matter anymore if he wasnt your choice, it is now time to rally together and go win a state championship. Coach Stevens has proven he is capable of it and i dont see any reason this team shouldnt go all the way. Good luck wildcats and good luck coach stevens you my total support.
  14. i sure hope you are right. it would put this long drawn out process to an end. they couldnt find a better choice IMO.
