It's not a head scratcher by any means. MC CAN be a very good physical football at times and there is no denying that. It's jekyll and Hyde at its finest. They could go to Westmoreland next week and lose by 3 scores. Most all of those big ones over the years have been on their home turf in front of their good crowd. So you mix what I just said with McCoin being out of most of the game and this result is very much a possibility.

Interesting, because according to bertier's playoff thread if CPA wins then they would be a 4/5 seed and pc would be an 8 seed playing 1 seed sc in first round and if CPA won they would play winner of that game. York is one of the hardest places to play. Visiting teams ALWAYS get a tough whistle York is not the York of the last several years when Wright coached them and Smith County is playing pretty good ball right now as they look to complete their first undefeated season in 22 years. Again, I'm surprised in the outcome but in all reality the pieces have always been there for MC to play to this level. They have a good staff and they have a veteran team that has been battle tested as they have played the 2nd toughest schedule in 2a this year. I heard McCoin got Hirt early in the game which had to hurt LA's chances since is arguably the best player on the team. I hope he is ok.

I know nothing about the money, the kool aid, or the reason for negativity but I do know he is a fine coach. Way better than Lafayette deserves based off of the way they seem to run them off as fast as possible
