I'd have to agree kennyc I've made it to every Fairview game this year and they are loaded with talent, and I have no idea what camden has. All I have to say is that it's not gonna be a cakewalk for either team it's gonna be close and it's gonna be good. Good luck to both teams and congrats on all their success thus far. I'm gonna say it was two years ago when Fairview started improving. I belive that was the first year they had made the playoffs since '92 when they went in '89,'90,'91,'92. Its good to see some good football again in Fairview and the stands filled up. I'm sorry that I'm going to miss the game on Friday due to a prior engagement I wish both teams the best and I'm from Fairview and my little brother plays for them so thats who I'm rooting for, but I believe it's gonna be a heck of a game. GOOD LUCK FOR BOTH TEAMS!!!!!!!!!

Man what a game. First off I'd like to congratulate the Yellow Jackets on their first region title in 12 yrs. That was a good game by both teams granted the officiating was absolutely horrible and they made bad calls against both teams but it did get a little one sided there at the end. The Fairview line took over the game in the second half and the defense stepped up. Good Game boys! That Cheatham county defense was fast to the ball but looked a little tired in the 2nd half. The DB's stepped up the second half as well when it was crunch time. Oh yeah I almost forgot what about that 90 yard touchdown by that DE shew the monkey got on his back there at the end and I didn't think he was gonna make it and then he juked a guy and went on to score. Good game guys and I'm looking forward to the Adamsville game next week.

OK OK OK It's been 12 yrs since Fairview won the District/Region it was 1992 they won District 12AA two years straight '91,'92 and they were runners up in '89,'90. Smiley I haven't played Socom most of my time is Rainbow Six Black Arrow anywho yes well let me get back to the game I can say that I know absolutely nothing about Lewis county this year but I know how good Fairview can be if they play error free football and don't get stupid penalties like they did at Montgomery Central. Defense Will be aggressive but that has also hurt them by being too aggressive at times as well as that little DE #45 for Fairview needs to squeeze down more before he gets up field He's a heck of a pass rusher when he can pin his ears back and go but when they run off tackle he is up the field too quick and needs to squeeze that TE or T down before he gets up field so they can not run underneath him. I have to say I played on that Fairview team from '89-'92 we never played Lewis County in the season just in a scrimmage every year which everybody knows scrimmages don't count. Our combined record including playoffs those four years were 34-10 and back in the good old days only 2 teams from each distrct made it to the playoffs not four or whatever it is now. We also got lucky and got to play the University of Brentwood ERRRR I mean Brentwood Academy in the first round of the playoffs my Fresh. and Soph. years now that was great fun NOT. So if anyone needs to know any early 90's Fairview football just ask me. OH YEAH BY THE WAY GO JACKETS final score Fairview 28 - Lewis County 7 See everyone in Hohenwald tonight.

If I'm not mistaken Westmoreland's second score to put them up 14-0 came off of a Fairview turnover. If's and but's were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry Christmas.

Ok I'd have to agree but I am a little partial since he is my Lil Bro he now has 4 sacks on the year and I hope he gets a few more tonight against a tough Hillwood team. What he lacks in size he makes up for it in speed and quickness God knows he didn't get it from me I was just a big slow O Lineman. Good Luck JACKETS.

I have to say that was one of the best games that I have seen in a long time. It looked ugly in the begining spotting Westmoreland with 14 pts. but by the middle of the second quater you could see the tables turning. I saw a lot of huffing and puffing and heads hanging on the Westmoreland side. Those big lineman from Fairview just wore them out and had them dragging. I believe that this game was won by the O-line and the defense. Fairview just needs to watch out for the little stupid penalties so they don't get themselves in bad situations. Oh yeah good job Lil' Bro.
