  1. Didn't BGA/Hendersonville play a match last night? Score?
  2. Hendersonville vs Beech... Tie 0-0 Hendersonville Coach red carded out of game.. will he just miss the one upcomming match with Franklin?
  3. A few other college freshman from Middle Tennessee... I know there are many more that haven't been mentioned in this or other posts. I think it would be interesting, if not eye opening, to compare the number of Tennessee soccer players that played high school, club ball or both that were able and actually made the decision to go on and to play college ball somewhere on some level. Kelly Cannon (Beech) - Austin Peay Marissa Hackett (Beech) - Martin Methodist Ashely Smith (Shelbyville Central) - Tennessee Tech Amber Lovelady (Brentwood Academy) - Union Abbey Roark (Siegel) - Martin Methodist Lizzy Barrett (Franklin) - UT Chattanooga Sarah Sharp (Franklin) - UT Martin Pam Grega (Lebanon) - Lambuth Ali Crowley (Coffee County) - Martin Methodist Sara Francescon (St. Cecilia) - UT Chattanooga Tessa Williams (Centennial) - Murray State Mary Beth Burchett (Clarksville Academy) - Austin Peay
  4. 9-AAA Hendersonville 4 - Wilson Central 1 Beech 5 - Smyrna 2
  5. Hey H2odog, we have a travel team playing the GIT after season down there and we are needing a professional video for our team of a game or two... might u happen to know who it was?
  6. Correction Corey Montgomery Beech listed #39 as a defender.. she's an outside midfielder.
  7. Blackman 0 - Beech 5 Two more games tomorrow but Beech won their tournament on points. Beech 7 - White House 1 Beech 5 - White Station 1 Beech 1 - Dobyns Bennett 1 Beech 5 - Blackman 0
  8. The WH keep made some GREAT saves early in the 1st half, she is stepping up and playing hard. Throughout the match WH played with heart and character. Just to fill in, the single goal scored by WH before the half was with Beech fielding 7 freshmen and the Keep being the only starter on the field for the last 10 minutes of the 1st half. All 7 goals were by different players. The Beech Sweep #12 scored the 1st goal and Stop #7 scored the 2nd. After the third goal, Beech began playing the bench. Then in 2nd half a few starters came out, but were removed soon after a freshman scored the 7th and final goal of the 2nd half. Hope the WH player that was injured is OK. There's plenty more good competition this weekend. Good luck with the rest of your ganes this weekend.
  9. Saturday night at 7pm
  10. Hey Kick !!! No pregame predictions, hehe? Maybe I'll get to see yall play in Hendersonville, maybe not huh? For that matter who says it will be in Hendersonville anyhow:-) Goodluck to ya'll. U can bet #7 is rooting for ya.
  11. Tonight.... 7pm at Drakes Creek in Hendersonville
  12. Wanted to congratulate Brentwood and Hendersonville with best wishes in their games with the East TN teams at states. Congratulations also to Franklin and Beech ifor their region 5 and region 6 championship titles, great seasons both teams had, not just a few good games. Beech had two of their starters out sick, one senior Erin, the leading points producer and the other a freshman Erica, an impressive defender that was missed tremendously. A third starter, Marissa, a vital sophmore starting midfielder, played valiently through pain on two rolled ankles, one of 10 days ago and the other suffered two days ago in the region final. Congratulations to the 7 Beech Seniors. You were the 1st Beech team to win District 9AAA, a Region 5 championship and to be ranked for the first time in the top 11. Great season girls!!!!
  13. So that is the score? I know the game was over at the time of this 4-0 post. Was that an expectation to beat DB by that margin? What happened?
  14. Does anyone know how the District playoff sites are selected? Kick, I agree 100% with ur posts. If u were Tracman, I'd suggest u bring ur chair tonite to the Brentwood/Beech match:-) We moved in additional seating but, I'd be willing to bet more tickets will be sold than seating. I do understand what ur saying Tracman in that facilities vary widely. I suspect most all playing surfaces were not the best on the evening of the Rossview game I think u were talking about... Beech hosted Clarksville that night and field conditions were far from ideal to be blunt. And usually there is room for improvement no doubt. You know the Hendersonville people I talked to were very gracious considering conditions at the Beech hosted Regional between Beech and Hendersonville... just across town was their facility and a nice one indeed. I bet some of Hendersonville parents would have even given up the gate to have hosted, but hey it just doesn't work that way. All these programs are different. Consider Beech player fees are over twice Hendersonvilles too. Maybe the difference in this comparison that I'm trying to illustrate is that the Beech program isn't in debt up to the eyeballs. For a moment forget the long established strong programs... perhaps my question is, would it be fair to economically challenged remote county systems that don't have the feeder program support where they can barely field a team? You betcha it would be nice to have more system support. The good news is, soccer is better in TN and will continue to improve over time. Please... someone tell those of us that don't know how the District venues are selected... how that works.
  15. First of all, I think u may have missed that the string was talking about ranked teams not "Top Ranked" or where u referring to the top 11 ranking and I misunderstand u? McMinn was ranked at 8 and Beech at 9 within the past day or so. The rankings are what they are and do not reflect anyones "opinion" as to a teams ability or not to compete... correct me if Im wrong please. My post was congratulatory of McMinn being rated and the effort of McMinn girls and girls across this state that do what they do, they play soccer because they love the game. Now when I used the phrase "underated by the soccer community", I was drifting off track of the string just a little... really responding to the volume of "Beech is gonna lose" posts this year in this forum. I really do get a kick out of all the speculation that goes on. Predictions based upon this team beat this one, this team lost to that one and therefore... and on and on. Nevermind all the factors and unknowns that often decide games that folks don't even know about when it comes to another team. Beech won the Region 5 title this evening and Brentwood is the next team they meet. I know many of the players and families on Brentwood and look forward to seeing old friends and some competitive sectional play this Saturday. LifeIsGood4 Beech right now, and these girls just seem to like it tough.
  16. Hey Cree.. congratulations go look at SoccerInfo this morning.. it might just make ur day Teams like McMinn, Beech and so many others do have a tough tme getting into the rankings and often are underated by the soccer community. But ur right... girls play the game because they love the game.... we know! Good luck with the rest of ur season.
  17. Here we go huh???? Predictions and all One game at a time, but hoping its not premature to wish Hendersonville good luck with Franklin, in secetionals of course I don't think Beech has peaked yet. Beech has had an incedible season and contrary to what so many have said, Beech is still alive. But at any rate, parents and fans, who come to the game being played at Beech.... bring ur boots, its muddy on the hill. Go #7.... Go BUCS!!!
  18. Beech 3..... Clarksville 1 Congratulations Bucs!!!!!
  19. Lol, so what are u saying Sports24? U saying ya'll came up one nut short? Surely ur not talking about Beech being a blind squirrel since the score was 1-0. You want to talk about sportsmanship and class? Good luck with Rossview.
  20. Thanks so much for ur reply, didn't know Rossview and Clarksville were to meet at the time I posted. Looking at the brackets for the regional semi finals, appears to me that if it is as u speculate.... Rossview winning 10-AAA, Rossview would see Hendersonville in the regional semis instead of the finals. I just thought the winner of 10-AAA would see the runner-up of District 9-AAA which is Hendersonville?
  21. Does anyone know who are the teams coming out of District 10 to the Regional Semi Finals?
