System What system? You are 100% Correct. How many 2nd graders have you seen Kick an extra point? Much Less in Middle School. Heck, Most of them don't develop till their 7th or 8th Grade Years all the while in reality they will still struggle to kick an extra point even then. Most High School Kickers are glorified SOCCER Players that either want to do it or not. For Most it's the latter because Soccer is a year round Sport and would take away from their First Love. The others have chosen to give up their first love and pursue a full time Kicking Career doing the things they need to do to get better. re:Camps etc..... FWIW I bet you & I can count on one hand how many Kids this side of Reedy Creek have gone on to Kick at another level? Not Many As far as the quote above: Blanket Removed,,, What makes you think he can't Kick an extra point or field goal, other than what you have seen on game day or warm ups? If GC didn't have the confidence "The Poor Kid" would not have gotten the opportunity to do so Period. Remember their are 3 pieces to the puzzle. Offense Looked Good was impressed with the QB. He has a good arm made a couple pinpoint passes in coverage good scrambling ability. Right Corner had a pick or two good coverage Lots of Talent Kicker missed one but has good range & distance will be great asset during season Defense held their own but with #32 running the ball against them the first guy to him is not going to tackle him alone. Minus the turnovers DB moved the ball better than expected with both backs Good Luck this season to both teams!!!!!!

I'm sure this thread will bring out the debate teams from all over town!!!! It's all about talent one or two kids can't & won't win you a championship. Year in, Year Out, Our North East Tennessee Teams Just don't have the complete package to get the Gold Ball Back Home. Talent + Expectations = Productivity,,, We year in year out have the talent & expectations and are very productive. All the while not adjusting our talent levels(IF WE EVEN HAVE THEM) to match up with playoff teams. IMO One & Done Ain't No Fun

I know a guy from Ketron by the name of J Bowen who went to UT on scholly never got much p/t except on the Meat Squad. Finally getting injured and Married to My Sister. Classic Years for me as a Kid Chillin on the sidelines of Neyland, Drinking Salt Water out of the Pump, Watching Condridge work his magic & S Morgan haulin the mail on the fly.If my memory serves me correctly Didn't Bibee have wreck in K-town down on Neyland Dr near the Bridge???
