fulmer and the rest of his coaching staff turn their backs to the great talent that is in their own backyard and go out to oregon (erik ainge) and florida (brent shaeffer) to get their quarterbacks and to california to get linebacker kevin burnett. granted, all three of those players are good but ut has missed local talent because they are too busy looking elsewhere. some of the players from tennessee that looked promising have so far been flops (gerald riggs for example) i dunno if this is purely coincidence or not, but if you look at the premiere teams in college football today, most of the players on those rosters are from cities and towns close to the location of the college they play football for.

everyone quit talking about an upset and the wet field affecting boyd in a negative way. two words to put down the upset idea...matt peardon. both teams have to play on the same wet field with the same wet ball...so boyd wins in a rout boyd 54 whitwell 14

boyd rolls all over whitwell...we could start all our second strings and still win by 2 TDs...boyd by 5-6 touchdowns...no contest

ooltewah hasnt played anybody this year if they beat a good team then ill be a believer

i dunno when ooltewah will falter, but they will eventually cuz they are way overrated this year for some reason

yes, im not refuting the fact that we got beat. the better team doesnt win every game. all im saying is is that we had a defensive breakdown on the last play and baylor basically stole a victory right from us. baylor even had bigger players and we hung with them the whole game. in fact, we almost won the game. that right there is a tribute to the entire team. you also talk about having clutch players, boyd came through in the clutch too, as if you forgot the boyd scored a touchdown with 30-odd seconds left. your team just came in a clutch right after us.

hey, you guys are all leaving something out; last friday, boyd buchanan vs. baylor...they won it all on the last play (71-yd. TD pass) after boyd had just scored to take the lead, im still not over it yet

all i know is is that boyd buchanan is better than baylor, they just lost it in the last second...
