The SVC Championship Games will take place tonight at Rhea Central Elementary School in Dayton. The girls game will be Rhea Central vs. Bledsoe County. The boys game will be Dayton City vs. Bledsoe County. Girls game starts at 6:00 CST.

Bledsoe County Middle School will host Whitwell Middle School tonight. JV starts at 4:00, Varsity Starts at 6:00.

Spring City Middle School usually has one. Call their school and ask for Tina Stinnett. I think they are having it the first week of January.

Bledsoe beat rhea central 29 to 17 in the jamboree and beat Swiss Memorial last night 52 to 16. Seq. Co lost a close one to palmer by 2 on a layup with about 7 seconds left..

The SVC Jamboree will be this Saturday at Bledsoe County Middle School. It starts at 10:00 am central. This year South Pittsburg will take the place of Meigs County. South Pittsburg will not be playing in the Jamboree due to the lateness of them joining the conference. Rhea Central plays tonight against Ocoee Middle School.

Sequatchie played a pretty good game last night. They never quit even after we were up on them 22-0 at the end of the first quarter. They put together a good drive that started with about 30 sec. left in the 1st quarter and finally scored with less than a minute left in the second quarter. We almost scored again before the half. We completed a pass down to the 1 yard line as time ran out. We scored a couple more times in the second half and they scored a long run by #8. Seq. is improving and I think will provide more of a challenge for teams and will quite possibly win 2 or 3 games before the season is over. They have opened the season with three tough games. (South Pitt., Rhea Central, & Bledsoe) Congrats to Spring City. Looks like next week will be not only an important game but a close one as well.

I hate picking between Valley teams because I always pull for our teams, but in this case I will because of the great rivalry between these wo teams. Marion seems to be improved this year but I don't think they can match the big play ability of south pitt. I think this one will be close for awile ,but I think South Pitt will win by atleast 2 touchdowns. South Pitt - 38 Marion - 24. As always good luck to both teams.

I watched both teams scrimmage Bledsoe and saw both play at the jamboree. From what I saw both looked to be improved and I think Whitwell will pull this one out in the end. Whitwell - 20 grundy - 12.

We did score all 26 points in the first quarter. We subbed in the second quarter and let second and third teamers play in the second half. This game is about winning, but it is also about the kids. Coach Webb is a very close friend and I wish him the best of luck the rest of this season. Jasper is a very young team and will be much better the next couple of years. I also heard that Spring City beat Bridgeport 20 - 6. Coach Cook said that Bridgeport had around 20 kids and that they were all big and physical. He said that the score was 6 to 6 at the half. He feels that they were in better condition allowing to pull it out in the second half.

I just heard that the Whitwell vs. Dayton City game has been cancelled. Something about Whitwell's field being unplayable or something. Has anyone heard whats wrong with the field? Hey Zonepirate tell Stoney to call me so we can try to schedule some B-Ball.

Bledsoe and Jasper were scheduled to play this Thursday @ Jasper, but due to problems with their field the game will be played @ Bledsoe @ 6:30pm CST.

Hey Zonepirate did you hear that the Georgia Bulldogs have fired their football coach? There are going to hire Michael Vick to really teach those Dogs how to fight! I can't get the league master schedule to pull up so I am going to have to retype it. I will try to get it on here sometime today.

Bledsoe plays this Thursday against Dayton City. The game is at Bledsoe and will start at 6:00 pm CST. I will try to post a league master schedule on here sometime tomorrow.

Brandon Smith(31) at Tailback and outside linebacker did a good job, He is a very talented kid. Chris Akina(22) ran well at tailback and Power I back and did excellent on defense. Ryan Deakins(82) made a couple of good plays on defense. Caleb Smith(21) also played well. We still need to work on some blocking assignments, but I fell everyone played well.

Finally bit the bullet and became a plus member. I will try to post scores on here every week of all conference games. All of the coaches are supposed to call me and report the scores. Thanks to everyone who made the Jamboree a success last night and good luck to everyone this season. Hope to see some of you at the high school jamboree tonight.
