Take exit 59 off of I81, go left at the bottom of the entrance ramp onto Fort Henry Drive. The stadium is on Ft. Henry 6 miles or so from the interstate. This exit has a Holiday Inn Express. If you take exit 57 onto I181 to Kingsport, the second exit is Hwy 93 and it has a Hampton Inn, Jamison Inn, and a Marriott. If you are a golfer the Marriott has "Cattails at Meadowview", a resort course. The hotel has special rates that include the hotel plus a round of golf. The course is a nice one with some beautiful views on the back nine. Have a good trip, TigerTenn

Hats off to Ooltewah for playing tough the entire game. You took DB farther than any other team this year. Maroonandgray, Duran was 4 yards past the line of scrimage when he threw the second touchdown pass. On that one the refs made the correct call even though it took then 20 seconds to figure it out. Congrats again to the Owls for playing a tough game. Hopefully you helped make DB a better team. TigerTenn

Ooltewah will be the second best team DB has faced other than Oak Ridge. Truly, Farragut was clearly the 4th place team in Region 2 but managed to beat Ooltewah in the final game. With Lamon out and cold weather possibly impacting DB's passing game, this one should be a good game. DB's defense plays a huge role in the win. Are all three of Ooltewah's players back for this game? TigerTenn

Would someone describe how the playoffs work? I know the region champs play at home the first two games, the second game probably against the 2nd place team from the other region. Then if both region champs are left, the games this year go to the western most team (the Region 2 champ at home versus the Region 1 champ). If the Region 2 champ gets beat in the first two games and the Region 1 champ wins, then the Region 1 champ hosts the third game? Is that correct? any website with a decent description of how the playoffs are scheduled? Thanks. TigerTenn

Carl is running 4th team but a lot of backs would be behind Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown. Tre Smith is running third team. The coaches have been pretty positive about Carl's work ethic and ability. Kenny Irons transferred from South Carolina last year and has to sit out this year. Tre, Carl and Kenny should see significant playing time next year. TigerTenn

The DB Oak Ridge game could have easily gone to Oak Ridge. They fumbled a punt late deep (no fault of DB just a very poor play by the punt returner) in their territory that gave DB 7 points and put DB up by two scores. They were also on top of a ball in DB's endzone that was eventually recovered by DB so we only gave up 2 points instead of 7. If these teams play 10 times the series could easily be 5-5. The game was closer than the 17 points indicate. This is from a DB fan at the game. Oak Ridge will not lose again until the playoffs and definitely should be in the top 6 or 7 teams. TigerTenn

Great game ORNole. OR is a class program. Duran is one of the best. Any other QB would have suffered 4 or 5 sacks last night instead of one. He not only passes very well and breaks tackles but also hits people when he runs. TigerTenn
