  1. Oh yes, I will be at the game. I will be the guy holding your wager after the game is over. I have been wrong three times against LA. The other times and I must say many other times I have been correct. I just pick by the numbers. I don't make it up.
  2. Fulton is much much better than last year. I have Fulton by 27. The teams have some games one could look at to give a better understanding of how this game should play out. Gibbs lost to Fulton 48-10, Gibbs beat Grainger 31-12. Fulton Beat Carter twice. 53-0, and 55-0, Carter beat Grainger 48-14, Greeneville beat Grainger 48-7, Fulton beat Greeeneville 42-14. This does not mean crap I know, but my money is going to be on Fulton. Just because they can score and score quick from many different angles. Wilson Cates was a great player and that team was destined to win. Great story. From my old school days. The Wildcats from Livingston Academy will not be gracious host to the high flying Fulton Falcons from the NorthEast side of the K-Town. The Falcons from Fulton make that long trek down I-40 to take on the old HogEye of Livingston Academy. While the Wildcats are on a 5 game winning streak and looking to catch the Falcons sleeping in the nest, the Falcons are looking to keep their 3 game wins going. Physical up front will be the way that will have to carry the Wildcats to get the upset, but Falcons just fly much much faster and get their prey before you know it. Fulton by 27.
  3. In 3A Alcoa, AE, & CAK all will have a part in the advancement of Sullivan North. AE might be the only one that looks to not be in the playoff contention.
  4. Seymour seems to have found its groove in QB Nick Sexton. Have been very impressed by his skills. Putting the ball into places between defenders, and allowing players to make plays. Not putting his team into bad positions and seeming to be a great leader on the field. Any thoughts on the opposing Hornets, and if they will be able to slow down the Eagles Offense? Can anyone tell me about what Carter does, and how they match up? I know they lost some key athletes from last years team.
  5. They just don't have the size or speed to be able to hang with the teams they play. Julian and Staff will have a tough year. It's hard to win when your Players have neither size, nor speed, or Athletic Ability. I wish the Red Devils much Luck this year.
  6. It is still going to be tough to get past the Knoxville area teams. Witten has done a great job. He is just stuck playing one of the Big 3 (Alcoa, CAK, AE) when it comes playoff time. Until the Cyclones can knock two of the three out, it will be hard for them to make it past the second round. I know Coach Witten has worked hard trying to schedule regular season games against formitable teams so that his team will be playoff ready, but that is always going to make it tough for The Cyclones can get past the second round.
  7. They will always have athletes, but not the amount they are used to. Unless several great athletes transfer in, it will not be the same AE teams we have seen in the past. Im not sure anyone local will want the job. Benny may have to go searching.
  8. It was a great year for the Eagles. I anxious to see if they can do it again this year. It will be a big suprise if they can get back to the Playoffs again. I just don't see it happening.
  9. I have noticed a large amount of Freshman playing for many teams this year.
  10. Update June 17th-20th. They are having an option of 4 day and 2day. They are having a combine that is free to all teams. The rest you will have to lookup bigmanbattle.com
  11. There is a 7 on 7 & Lineman Competition for Middle School Football Teams. It will be sometime in June. If you are interested check out bigmanbattle.com This is all the information they sent me.
  12. I would not say that the Cylclones have played a tougher schedule that the Roadrunners. AE normally plays one of the toughest schedules in TN. The Cylcones have a much more complete team than the Roadrunners, and have much more top speed. The Roadrunners have a much more overall athletic team than that of the Cyclones. The loss of #14 hurts the Cyclones in several ways, but mostly on defense. Big plays and bouncing out of a tackle is where AE will get you. Of course if they (AE) are up by 50 points they will leave the starters in the entire game. Just one of the many great things the AE coaching staff is known for.
  13. Tougher season, You have got to be kidding.
  14. Gibbs coaching staff has done a good job of working their kids. The kids play hard. This is the first year in many many years that Gibbs has put a good product on the field. Just so happened Gibbs drew a very tough team for round 1. Just don't have the athletes to prolong a good team for very long, but they do play hard though. Red Bank 42 Gibbs 7
  15. This Fulton team is just not like the Fulton's of yesteryear. They can still win this one, but just no where near what they used to be.
  16. Great start for the Warriors. Alcoa just too much for them. Left at end of the Half.
  17. Found out yesterday that #14 has torn ACL, torn MCL, and Chipped bone on the Knee Cap. Hated to hear that for the young man. I wish him luck and prayers to him and his family. Good luck T-Ho. Speaking of T-Ho's. Man I'm craving that place right now. I wonder if they are open?
  18. What is 11 doing now? If I'm not mistaken #28 was an All State RB last year, from what I remember they had a Line that was pretty good as well. I saw during the Seymour and Sevier Co. game that a player for Seymour used to play at Carter. He seemed to be a pretty good player. Teams do have down years, and I can't see Carter being down for very long.
  19. Week 1- 4 yes, but several teams have passed them now. They are still the best team class 1- class 5 for sure.
  20. Although Travis is a good little back, the Mountain Press is way off on its report. Both in the Nation and TN. I do wish him well and great success though.
  21. He is a great young man. Great Student-Athlete.
  22. #14 will have MRI or CT done Tuesday. MCL is whats predicted. Huge loss for Elizabethton, if it is MCL.
