  1. My junior year with gallatin. played Brentwood second round of the playoffs. 4th quarter brentwood is down by two comes on the field to attempt a field goal. kicker misses the field goal but fakes an injury to get the roughing the kicker penalty. three plays later comes on the field laughing and kicks the game winner.
  2. Gallatin spring ball starts next week. i think they will be a whole lot more mature than last season. have some experienced guys playing now. new o line coach at that. should be interesting to see how things go.
  3. i played for gallatin in 06 and we ran the 4-3 defense. personally that tends to be my favorite just because we had guys up front that could plug up holes and our linebackers were extremely talented. depending on what coach likes to do things with you can just play a base front or blitz any way you want to.
  4. they should be primed for a region title run this year. cody matthews should have been the starting quarterback fulltime last year. the boy is a baller and knows what he is doing. they are bring in size for the line this year. should be good to go.
  5. The only new changes on gallatin's staff has been the addition of a freshman coach. The name is Randall Silcox. played for the green wave on the 92' state champ team. he came from gibson co.
  6. Ben Miller. one of the best linebackers i have ever seen play. i played with him all three years we were in school and it was just amazing what he could do.
  7. Thomas D is at tulane as a coach right now, but i am not for sure which position
  8. BUBBA DUNN...one heck of a reciever and a excellent baseball player
  9. who are some of the players in your opinion
  10. look i am just gonna put it this way. its gallatin vs. hendersonville. each player on both teams that grew up in this area were taught be the communities and everybody else to hate on another. at gallatin i was taught never to lose to a h-ville team no matter what the circumstances was and i am sure it was the same way at h-ville. it doesn't matter whose record is better whose defense is better or whose offense is better its gonna come down to who wants it more. plain and simple. it doesn't matter if you lose every game this season you better not lose this one. look at last year gallatin 8-0 h-ville 4-4 going into this game and how close was it? it came down until the last two minutes of the 4th quarter. i played through pain and injury in that game and wasn't getting out for anything until that game was over. thats how its gonna be friday each team is never gonna give up until that final whistle blows no matter what the outcome is. good luck to gallatin i hope yall can pull this one out no matter what don't lose to h-ville!
  11. from what i have heard from players and coaches gallatin has to win two of the three remaining games to even get in the playoffs
  12. wait i minute now coach williamson runs the same defense and has the same desire as coach walls. coach williamson is a great ball coach and knows what he is doing. he was a big reason as to why we went undefeated and shut out the first three opponents. he puts you in the right place at the right time. but it also comes down to how the kids react to everything
  13. if i remember correctly hendersonville never made it to the playoffs did they now
  14. the other kid is sunshine. his real name is adam patrick he plays db on defense but i agree he does have the best arm on the team
  15. kind of hard to get a team together when you have your quarterback and head coach who calls the plays arguing to each other like i saw friday night in the stands. and halftime it seems like to me yall weren't together that it was just whatever for you guys. looked like you guys didn't care that it was already over
