Just curious....What does everybody think of the fairness of open enrollment vs. schools that have zones? It seems like every year that the schools that excel are open enrollment and zoned schools are good but you play with what you are dealt. my opinion is that every one be zoned or have two different leagues(open and zone) Just want to see if everybody feels the same way?

The key word you said is the market. are the houses Fair market Value and could anybody else get them at the same rate?

seems to me everytime JCM loses it is the officials fault...that kind of gets old!

I think it is because of alot of the east tennessee teams that make it to the championship are open enrollment and the schools in west tennessee have to take the kids in their zoned areas except for inner cit memphis. I believe that there should be an across the board standard or 2 different state championships(open enrollment and the zoned schools)

# 34 for henry is good. I waas very impressed with #9 from brighton, in my opinion he might be the best i have seen in a long time.

What is kenwood about??Do they have a chance against henry?

Just telling you what the clock said at memphis. I watched them play last week and they have plenty of athletes.

I have seen Brighton play and Tim Stark has not played but 1 quarter so far. As far as them having no speed you might need to turn your vcr to play instead of slow motion. The defense is extremely fast. I was at the memphis combine talking to some of the coaches and the kids they showed me that played in the defensive backfield run at the slowest time 4.56 in the 40 and the fastest 4.41

Why does Covington not throw their ace against Ripley to lock up a guaranteed spot in the regionals. Now it comes down to one game left.

I hope covington has the same refs they had against Raleigh so they won't get their normal calls.If they can't hold they can't win.Good luck next year beating crockett,haywood, dyersburg, ripley and obion.

7-3A is the toughest in west tn. Covington Crockett County Dyer Co. Dyersburg Haywood Obion Co Ripley 7-2A runs a very close second with teams like humboldt, huntington,milan,usj,westview 7-4A very tough also Melrose Memphis East Kingsbury Raleigh-Egypt

I went to the Ripley game and was pulling for Ripley. I hate to admit it but it was the proper call. I believe that Mcadams fumbled intentionally which was smart but not legal they will give it to you at the spot of the fumble. I still think coach mcadams did a great job this year with a young team. As far as the covington game I had some people that went there also. They said that Covington did like they always do and held or blocked in the back with their wingbacks and it just finally got called. The announcers on 93.5 acted like it was the end of the world that all those penalties were going against the chargers. I am just glad that the officials finally got the nerve to call it on the mighty chargers. Game to watch this week.....Milan at Carver
