Lebanon played Riverdale tougher last year than anyone else. It was a 21-6 game that was hard fought. The Blackman playoff game score was a little closer, but Riverdale had five fumbles in that game.

You're absolutely right. Riverdale is pretty good, but nowhere near as dominant as last year. Dickson county has a pretty good team also. The Warriors will have to play their best every week in order to defend their title. Their best will have to be better than they played Saturday night though. Go Warriors

I think that is pretty much true.

This one was a pretty good game. Dickson County did a great job all night, but the Warrior offensive line finally came together a little in the fourth quarter. Penalties were a problem for both teams. The field was in great shape, even though lightning knocked the lights out Friday night. Riverdale's defense only allowed 7 points, which I liked. Our offense needs to get it together, though. The game was down to the wire, which is how football should be. Good luck to Dickson County the rest of the year.

Yes the game ended 34-19. Riverdale also played without starters, and pretty much ran the ball at will. Fumbles stopped them a couple of times. MBA threw the ball very well against the Warriors. This was just a scrimmage and a chance to see a lot of kids play. The score doen't really interest me until the regular season games start.

Riverdale over MBA 34-19. Riverdale's defense did not play well early, but came on at the end. Both offenses had too many turnovers. Taron Henry did not dress out (ankle) and Kenyon Buford played very little (dehydration earlier in the week). Both of these teams are going to do all right.

This happened my junior year in high school - late 70's in MS. We were trailing 6-0 midway through the 4th. We had the ball on about the 25 yard line, and called a pass to our wide receiver. I played TE and ran a crossing pattern which put me about 15 yards away from the WR as the ball got there. He was wide open but at the last moment he started jerking like he was having a seizure. He missed the ball, but somehow caught a bumblebee in his jersey. Funny to me, not to him.
