Wartburg will be County Champs. But, they'll probably finished at the bottom of their region. They won't make the playoffs. Coalfield will be the only team in Morgan County to make the playoffs, but, they probably won't be region champs.

I was listening to my scanner last night and heard an ambulance was called to the Robbins/Coalfield game. The paramedics said they had a neck injury. Was this a Coalfield or Robbins boy that got hurt, and does anyone know if was very serious?

I recall a few Oak Ridge athletes who played sports for Anderson County.

The coaches in Class A and Class AA should be able to vote whether not to have the private schools in their regions. That's the only fair way to do it.

I'm not quite sure about that, but I do know it is a city, not a county school.

Those boys were probably set up by someone from N.C. State.

I know some years back a TN public school near the KY-TN border had football players who lived in KY attending the school and playing sports for them. It's a fact. I asked my uncle in KY a few months ago if any of the Kentuckians were crossing the border nowadays, and they're not presently. I'm not going to mention the name of the school, but I bet some people could guess.

Probably the same reason the Oak Ridge people dislike A.C.

Oak Ridge has the best JV by far.
