I love your confidence, but you gotta beat Boyd again to play Alcoa and your probably thinkin that this game should be pretty easy, but we've changed alot in the past 2 weeks and your going to be seeing a much different team than you did last time. Many people didnt think we were gonna win last week and many people dont think we'll win this week but im feelin good about this game and cant wait to read coacht friday night to see what you have to say about how the rams "had" a great season. This is a big game for both teams as both have long region winning streaks and also gives 3 games home field advantage. Boyd Buchanan is down this year, compared to the last few years, from injuries. I know that Tyner is pretty solid this year but I have also heard that they are a little overrated, but I cant say that they are because I havnt seen them play. But I hope its a going to be a good game, what are yalls predictions?

I have heard that Boyd has a pretty good pass defense but im not so sure about their run defense. They will surely have to step it up a few notches against Kevin Cooper.

Hopefully Boyd will get revenge from the last two years. Baylor is a real good place to play and i hope its a good game. I'm gonna take an upset here and say boyd wins. Boyd - 21 Baylor - 10

My prediction for this game will be: Boyd - 45 Marion - 10

I'm sure that after losing to Gordon Lee, who Boyd beat last year 34-0, Coach Akins isn't too happy and is probably going to make sure that they are ready to win this friday. Anthony Hathaway did get hurt friday, but it was nothing bad and he will practice this week and play friday night. Hathaway has been very impressive his first 2 starts. He got 188 yards and 3 td's his first game and added 240 yards and 3 td's in onloy 3 quarters his second game. I'm sure he is going to be good and ready for this friday and I believe that he will have another outstanding game. Boyd played an awful game friday and that was not nearly as close to what they really can do. If you take away the 3 interceptions, 2 missed extra points and much much better kickoff defense, then it would if been a big win for Boyd but im not making any excuses for that because thats football and theres going to be mistakes and alot of them. But I believe that Weston Perry will snap out of his little funk that he is in. I just think he is nervous for his first year starting at quarterback. He is a much much better athlete than 3 interceptions and 2 missed XP.

I don't much about Gordon Lee, but I know that they wernt very good last year. Boyd should handle them easily especially if Anthony Hathaway has another a great game. He is great back and I believe he will really do great this year. What are yalls thoughts on the game?

Anthony Hathaway from Boyd-Buchanan has to be in the top 5 in my opinion. He is starting as a junior this year and really hasnt gotten the ball all that much the past 2 years because of Matt Peardon. But he showed a very good performance friday night against CPA with 190 yards rushing and 3 TD's. I dont really know much about the other backs in chattanooga so i cant place him anywhere but he is near the top.

Well, I have no idea what ya'll are talking about lol. But, this friday should be a good game. I don't believe this game is going to be a blowout, but I dont think it is going to be that close either. I think it will be a good game in the first half and then Boyd is just going to open it up in the second. I have heard alot about that junior running back from Boyd, Anthony Hathaway. I don't know if he will be able to fill the shoes of Matt Peardon, but I believe he will do a good job. And now we have Weston Perry as our quarterback who is more of a double threat quarterback instead of scrambling like Drew Akins was.

Anything can happen on any given friday night. By you sayin you win some you lose some, im guessin that applie to Alcoa too, their surely not impossible to beat. Just because a team has "excellent athletes" doesnt mean they cant be beat. Of course their going to be tough and it will be a tough game game to win, but that dont mean they cant. They have four quarters to make something happen anything can happen in those four quarters

Haha, well im sure the swamp will give a warm welcoming to CPA. Just pray that it doesnt rain ahead of time lol. But, ya'll are lucky. They just put brand visitor bleachers in. It's pretty sad when the visitor bleachers are better than the home lol. But im not sure when there supposed to put up the home bleaches and everything else that they are planning on doing.

Who are some of the key players that Boyd will have to watch out for on CPA?

As everyone is talking about games that are 2 months away, lets talk about about a pretty big game in week 0. Boyd really wants to win this to get revenge from the state championship in 2002. I'm not sure how good CPA will be this year but I know that Boyd is supposed to come out strong. How do yall think this one will turn out?

We have a show in Chattanooga on channel 46 called Stump On Sports. The main guy is called Stump, and personally, I dont think knows anything lol, but the show is good to watch because it shows all the scores in the area and talks about most of the games and has some footage of some of the games. And i believe every show, not sure if its everyone, but they'll has some players from a team come on and interview them and stuff.

I'm sure Coach Akins still thinks about that awful game back in 1997. So I'm sure that he is going to be prepared for this game the most because one - it will probably be for the region championship and two - He wants to the respect back from that game by trying to beat Tyner by as much as possible. So, dont anyone out there expect this game to be a blowout or a win by a large margin because im sure it wont be, this will be a game for who has the most heart and who wants to win the most. A memorable that i know of would be last year at the Boyd-Buchanan - Baylor game. There was like 20 seconds on the clock and Boyd was up 25-21 and Baylor was deep in their territory and threw a short pass and he runs it all the way down. Great past 2 years, hopefully Boyd can get revenge this year. GO BUCS!!!!!

There has been some changes in classifications this year, so alot of the schedules are going to be different and some will be tougher and some will be weaker, but who has the the toughest. The one that really stands out to me is Boyd-Buchanans schedule. But who else has a tough one.

With all the new teams that are entering into 2A, who will do good. I know Alcoa and Huntington are probably going to make another good run at, but how do yall think Boyd Buchanan will do and other teams like dca, cpa...etc?

Does anyone know if the fulton game is at the swamp or up at their place? and does anyone know when the new field house and stadium and all that stuff is gonna be built cuz i heard that their going to have to done by next season and there is no that they can do all that in one summer, or at least i dont think they can?
