  1. Well the Cougars looked to get the win for them to make the playoffs, While Karns being Karns want none of that and would take joy in keeping them out of the playoffs. Campbell Co. has suffered the last few weeks with losses to Bearden, Sci Hill, and DB. Karns comes in with a their lone win against Jefferson Co. while the last couple weeks they were plagued by the same two schools the Cougars were defeated by that of Sci Hill and DB. I'm for the Cougars to pull this one out of course and get to play at least one more week but this one might be a close on. Well looking forward to comments and Go Cougars.
  2. I hope it should be good game but I think i'll stick with the Admirals not many teams I think could beat them and they shall do well in the playoffs unless they meet up with Ooltewah again.
  3. DB 28 Campbell Co 6 oh well for the Cougars but they have played tough teams the past couple weeks, which they wrap up against Karns. The Beavers cant be overlooked but I think Campbell Co. can win it, also a Cougar win could get them back into the playoffs as Sevier Co. fell to Bearden, Sevier Co. ends their season 5-5 (2-4 in region) and if the Cougars win they would tie the Sevier Co. and win the tie breaker as they had beat Sevier Co. earlier in the year. So hopes are still with Campbell Co. to get in the playoffs. Karns being their big rival certainly will want to spoil that. DB looks to finish the season undefeated against Sci Hill, should be good region game, and at least its a shorter trip for DB too next week, lol. so Go Cougars and Roll Tribe Roll. First Round of playoffs for Region 1 and 2 5A look so far Campbell Co./Sevier Co. vs Ooltewah Farragut vs Sci Hill Bearden vs Soddy Daisy Dobyns-Bennett vs McMinn Co/Oak Ridge
  4. Yea with rain in the forecast Campbell Co. picks up a much needed advantage, lol.
  5. Now I wonder how many games have been won 2 -0 lol
  6. DB has been on a roll this year, winning all their games head all the way to Campbell Co. possibly for the last time with new classifications coming. DB has looked pretty strong all year while Campbell Co. has proved to have one of their best teams. The Cougars loss to Sci Hill seems to possibly shut the door on their playoff hopes. The biggest thing for Campbell Co to win this game is to say they have beaten at somepoint all the teams except the DB in their current region and this is their last chance to do that seemingly. I look for the Cougars to throw all they have into this one, but I dont see it as of now against a typically great DB team. What is it they say over in Kingsport "Roll Tribe Roll" well that my guess that will continue, so I will say DB - 48 Cougars -21
  7. Yea I was wondering what happened to the Patriots after seeing they got shut out
  8. Yea I was told by mother and father when they got home that the officiating was horrible, even mentioning that under a fair called game the Cougars might have won.
  9. Campbell Co heads to Sci Hill next weeks game, Campbell Co (4-3 ,1-2) looks to keep their playoff hopes alive, while the Toppers (5-2, 2-1) look for a bit insurance in their hunt for the playsoffs. The Cougars come in after a hard fought loss to Bearden 21-14 while Sci Hill beat Jefferson Co. blanking them 12-0 (what happened to Jefferson Co. in that game?). Should be and excellent game and a good win for either team.
  10. Bearden 21 - Campbell Co. 14 well close game, I did guess a close game and my thoughts of who would win, would win only by a touchdown, were correct, good game indeed
  11. Should be a very good game, both teams should put up points on board. i expect both teams should be over 30 points each. I do agree and hope that Cougars do not kick it to this Young kid who seems to be very good at that. I'm still not sure of a pick but eh for the heck of it Cougars by a touchdown
  12. I have the feeling DB will do about the same as Campbell Co. did with the Bears
  13. yep and figures it has to be the one I started pepvol. oh well, good seeing ya pepvol and bigdev54 in here
  14. While I was here at work I decided to check a fact stats for Campbell Co on points for selected years 2002 (My Senior Year) Campbell Co - 91 Opponents - 324 2004 (CCHS first winning season) Campbell Co. 166 Opponents - 160 2008 (Current Year and only 6 games in) CCHS - 220 Opponents - 130 Thought this would be interesting
  15. Well this game is shaping up to be a great game, Bearden coming to Campbell Co. with a 5-2 record with their loses to the currently undefeated teams of DB and Farragut, Bearden has won their last three games Karns, Halls, and Sci Hill. Campbell Co. comes in with wins in their last two games with a combined 95 points (I'm from Campbell Co. and certainly impressed with those numbers) over Heritage and Sevier Co. Campbell Co.'s two loses came to Jefferson Co. and Clinton which both could have gone either way. Looking at these schools for now im gonna call it a draw, I will make my prediction as next Friday approaches.
  16. Well it looks like it was Campbell Co.'s momentum over Sevier's redemption with an impressive 48-28 win and their first region win of the year. Hopefully the Cougars can continue on their success with a win against Bearden Should be a good one.
  17. After the game Beaver fans are going "wait a minute did we win" also probably checking the calender to see if it isn't April 1st j/k good win for the Beavers
  18. well i guess Campbell CO. messed that idea by building a large building across the field for the football program, also wish they do something with the stands sitting on concrete for a whole game or graduation isnt fun .
  19. heh way everyone puts it all the Anderson Co. schools would be in the same region, ought to be interesting
  20. Looking at their schedule I think the Dragons could win 4-5 games if they continue to play the way they are. Yea winning all 5 isnt out of the question prettysmitty
  21. Well the 3-2 Cougars head to 4-2 Sevier Co for next Friday's game. This game seems to have a big importance for positions and playoff implications for both teams. Campbell Co has played very well and is 6 points from actually a 5-0 record. Campbell Co. has some impressive wins with beating Powell for the first time from what ive been told. They knocked off Heritage by 29 points, and Union Co. by 27. Their two losses come from a close game with Jefferson Co. who a fighting for a playoff spot to, and a lost to Clinton who had an impressive win over Oak Ridge this week. Sevier Co. comes in with a strong start to season with 4 wins agains William Blount, Halls, Karns, and West, though they have lost their last two games to Science Hill in the running for a playoffs too and Seymour a team that blanked Heritage in the first game of the season. So far im going to with Campbell Co. on this one continuing their momentum from the game versus Heritage. Im interested in anything any Smokey Bear fans have to say about this game.
  22. Congrats to the Cougars for another win
  23. 1. DB 2. Bearden 3. could be SC, SH, JC, or CC its been an interesting year in 5A R1 so far, I admit to think 6-7 points in Jeff Co and Clinton games and Campbell Co would have started the year 5-0, I wouldnt have predicted that and most would agree to that.
  24. I'll still go with Maryville on this one but Clinton will do better than they typically do against the Rebels
