BigPoppa, I hadn't heard that about the Hillsboro Freshman Coach. Who is he? Does he recruit like the rest of them? It does not matter who the coach is if the administration does not get behind them. No JV team, get real! The tallent level is down over there right now but they need more than players and a coach. They need support.

I don't know what some of you are talking about. East Lit did not have four all district players. They had three. Yes I know that CPA was the regular season & tournament champion. Each Coach nominated players that they felt were deserving of the award. All the coaches voted without voting for their own players. The all tournament team was selected by the tournament committee. The bottom line is that these girls won the district. Individual awards should be irrellavant. Congratulations to the CPA team and coaches for a great season thus far and good luck in the region!

We welcome all qualified applicants. This job is a good job at a good school. We have some tallented kids. The only downside to our football program is that we are still a young program with limited facilities. By the way, doesn't everyone that looks to hire a football coach want someone with a great football mind that can take a team deep into the playoffs?

Tweet, are you responding to me? I'm just curious because I get the impression you are. What you are posting is inaccurate.

None of the other girls listed scored 1,000 points. I thought at one time that Genna Cousin would have done it but she did not. Shenita Gleaves was up and down while she was here and Brittany Davis quit in the middle of her junior year. The biggest factor imo was that they played on bad teams. I think Genna would have been the closest. Kelly will be East Lits all time leading scorer when she graduates. It could be a while before anyone challanges her total points. In case someone has the idea of asking me how I know, or do I have the books I'll save some of the unnecessary posts. I do not have the books, but I have been here for all of the games.

I am from a 5-5 school. I am disappointed though not whining. A problem I saw from the start concerned scheduling non-district opponents. We play in 3A with half of our district opponents being 4A teams. Two of our non district opponents were 5A teams. We were beat out by one team that would not play us in 3A and we were beaten out by other teams that had wins against 1A and 2A schoools. I just don't feel like this system makes sense. I too don't like having teams in the playoffs that have woefully inadequate records. I would like to see Four classifications for all sports. I would like to at least see what that would look like.
