Hey Gayry Bertier - why dont you stick to your yellow jackets and leave the Hornets to take care of their own business- CPA is a good football team but dont most safetys play 5-8 yds. minimum off the ball- hum?? 5-8 on every play- sounds good to me!!! Huntland is a run over you not an outrun you team- smashmouth football.

I agree Bubba McCowan is pretty good but hes out for awhile with a knee injury Like i said pretty good but not the best

Hey buddy watch it -that private school accusation was low- I am public school educated and small town - and will always be that way. Bottom line for this week is that the Hornets are focused and ready - like the name says Hornets will WIN!!! thumb

You folks over at WC think you have such a first class program- you try to look so private school with the recievers on offense and with all the talk and smoke you blow- yet your poorly lighted combo baseball/football mecca stadium with its portable bleachers and sewer plant in the corner is the worst in the region - if your program is really that good UPDATE!!!

What scrimmage were you watching? I was at this one and it looked pretty even - for the varsity 3 td for SP 2 td for Huntland - SP once on a fumble- Huntland once on an INT- both teams were pretty physical- Huntland especially on the early drives- both teams need work in areas

The eagles will get theirs on Monday -maybe in 5 innings . By the way, the second game against Huntland wasnt a fluke .. it was a good ole whoopin -- from a freshman pitcher too I might add. If HHS had hit the ball in the first game like they did in the second, the outcome would have been different .

You had better get your facts straight before you start blowing smoke at the teams in this region! I am not 100%sure about any other game besides Huntland but I know for a fact Huntland played no 11TH or 12TH grade players in the game. Huntland treated it like a scrimmage and you guys did play well BUT you cannot compare this game to the talent in the rest of the region. The practice most of the JV players get is against varsity players and you (Eagleville) play 9,10,11, and 12TH graders - thats like comparing apples and oranges - isnt it ? :confused: [Edited by WIN on 10-20-02 10:23P]

"kind of" is unnecessary when describing ironic and if you read the profile correctly, the word habit is a necessary part of the quote.

These rankings mean something? If Ezell was only playing other financial aid giving schools instead of competing with the public schools of the state things might be different.The only AID kids at our schools get is FIRST AID and the FREE LUNCH program is the only free money. Until the TSSAA realizes this we are all playing for second place. :confused:

Before you start talking about records, you better look at the difference in 4-0 and 0-4. Wins are posted in the left column, not the right. Your guys will play the same region teams we play and just because you are still sore from getting the WOOD laid to you don't start throwing rocks at us. Let's compare the W/L after 10 games and see how weak some of the remaining competition is.
