It wasn't as close as the score indicates. The game was close early with White House slowly pulling away. White House was up by 19 points in the 3rd quarter and started making wholesale subs. It would get to around 12 and the starters would come back in and stretch the lead back out. It got closer in the end because White House left 5 players on the floor that haven't seen much varsity action. I will say DCA never, and I mean never, quit playing hard.

I had to search all the way down to page 9 to find this thread. I believe it's time it was brought back to the top and discussed more. Since the season has started, what are your thoughts on how this district will shake out? I only have one game to refer back to with White House, but I think they will a tough team to beat and will be scary good by the time district play starts.

I agree, Travis did a great job last night with only getting about 1 minute on the bench to catch his breath. I was impressed with Poindexter's play at times last night. Don't know that he will get much PT when the big guns come back, but I see him earning some time if he continues to play like he did last night.

That just really bothers you in a major kinda way?? Because we had a fan post that he thought we would destroy everyone back before the beginning of the year, you've harped on it now for 12 weeks.... That is your opinion, which you are entitled to, but I believe it is bias since you hate and have hated the WH program for quite sometime. We think you fit into that same category you've placed the 99% of us, but we don't tell you about it all time.

We get blasted in other threads for reflecting back to "past" achievements and streaks. We are told you can't live in the past and we need to focus on present day accomplishments. We are in the "elite 8" this year, but now someone wants us to prove our worthiness by reflecting in the past.... Which way is it bc? This will be one HECK of a game tomorrow night. If today's weather is any indication as to what it will be like come game time, it's gonna be a cold one for sure. I'm not going to get into all the back and forth stuff between fans. Nothing good comes from any of that. I hope White House wins and I'm going to the game expecting that to happen. I heard that it was a robbery that left him with pretty much nothing. The collection at the game was just a bit short of $1,000 and the kids at school had already collected around $600. Thanks to everyone that contributed. Winning and losing is the here and now, but compassion is what it's all about.

If the bear didn't stop to crap in the woods, he wouldn't be a rug today. Thing is Tim, the coaches decided to go for the first down and didn't get it. End of story. If they had elected to try the FG and it had been blocked, several would have been wishing they had at least given us a chance by running the ball for the first. I think Zach would have made the kick as well, but Porter and Grantham didn't call me up on my cell and ask what I would do. Losses hurt but continually questioning a coaches decision certainly doesn't help the healing process. Let that game go and hope our boyz are focused on Polk right now !!!!

Come on Tim, there were 48 minutes in that game. It shouldn't have come down to a 40+ yard field goal or having to go for it on 4th and 3 to win the game. We lost, let it go and move on. The only team that has the right to say that Station Camp is overrated is Pearl Cohn. They can solely stake a calm to stopping SC's undefeated season.

Actually GreenbrierCat2, Greenwade didn't throw four pics Friday night. One of those pics was thrown by a receiver. Still, it was four pics by GB in the game.
