  1. I have been keeping up with the Cats the last 35 years. The "pnom" as you call him just shows how off base you are. I assume you are talking about Gulmire. Well if Oak Ridge fans can't appreciate him because a few fumbles, there are several hundred schools that will be interested in a trade. Wildman, didn't you guys win? the kid has had a few fumbles, thats life. He will be "the reason" you all go to state if you beat Riverdale. The other tailback is good, but Gulmire is on another level with Pope and Summers.
  2. "If you only knew the power of The Dark Side" Vader
  3. Alcoa will be 2A State Champs, no doubt with a 12-3 record. Losses to HOP TOWN, Maryville, and McCallie. Hop Town is loaded
  4. When Joe Gaddis was at Oak Ridge, he was incredible. And I am sure he has not changed much. He is one of the best coaches in the country, those kids will be motivated and ready to roll.
  5. Gulmire = Oak Ridge Lindsey = Alcoa Shiverdecker = Jeff Co. Miller = Riverdale
  6. Ooltewah will go to the Semi finals this year. They are loaded and they have the Legend at the helm. I do not foresee Bradley making a run at the playoffs for a long long while.
  7. Dobbyns Bennett, by far. What an atmosphere? I will be there when the play OR, what a game
  8. Actually at one point in time last year 5 of the teams on Oak Ridge's schedule were in the top 10 teams of 5A. Including great teams in Kingsport DB, Riverdale and very good young teams in their region in Ooltewah, Soddy Daisy, Farragut. Last year as a whole, the teams in the east of 5A, were night in and night out the toughest teams. Riverdale was the best, but East TN had a lot of great ones in Region 1 & 2, no Oliver Springs or South Doyle. I watched OR vs. Riverdale, and Lussier coached as good of a game as anyone could. Father Ryan will benefit from his presence.
  9. Oak Ridge returns almost 15 starters or so plus that Gulmire kid. Ooltewah will be good too.
  10. If he did retire. Who would take over? He is a good coach, but I understand the jump to private. $$$$$
  11. Does anyone have any info on York? I have just been transferred to Virginia, so I won't get to see them as much, but I may drive down some to watch some Northeast TN football. Who is good up there, besides DB?
  12. If they want to go outside and get a coach. Ron Gray of Oak Ridge is a great choice. Look at the points he has scored, and ask Riverdale fans, Oak Ridge's offense was clicking that night, granted the Warriors were awesome, but they made an impressive offensive showing.
  13. Is DB ever down? I expect to see a good match up with DB and OR twice next year.
  14. No need to hate Maryville, in fact many programs should learn from not only the city, but their program as well. My hat off to you all. Good luck in 05
  15. Does anyone have any info on the York Dragons?
  16. What are the former players going to coach? Miner is OC, Spratling?
  17. Well if folks weren't so rude to the guy on this forum, he probably would consider staying more so, but Oak Ridge fans are like NY Yankee fans sometimes. Hope to see things work out.
  18. What is the short list of guys availiable at this time in the year? Assistant coaches from anywhere they may want to bolt? This could be a good program with work.
  19. Is coach Calicott still there? He is a great guy and a great young coach.
  20. Why won't Clarksville schools play Hopkinsville?
  21. What about York? Don't forget the Dragons
