  1. The score was 4-3 Loudon. A 2 out 2 RBI double from Blake Cosner in the bottom of the sixth . Justin Thompson pitched a complete game for the Redskins. They will play again tonight @ Catholic 6:00 P.M. GO REDSKINS!!
  2. Pitch a no-hitter in his first game. Not sure if he has started any other games. Stats show he recorded about 10 K's.
  3. Nothing better than watching a grown man scream and cry. But seriosly, I have seen both teams compete this year and it should be a couple of very good games. I'm still trying figure out where all of the new players are from though. I would say this will be 1 and 2 in the district again! GO SKINS!!
  4. I guess that's why we were in Memphis last year and they were in Chattanooga? He also thought they were really good last year!!
  5. How was the fan support? It sounded really loud on the radio!! Was the Redskin Nation in full force? Good luck Redskins, we are proud of you! GO SKINS!!
  6. I feel sorry for the people at East Paulding. Because if you've got any class right now, you want have in a few years! Reid is a classless and arrogant _ _ _!! Just one man's opinion but I'm sure more people would agree!
  7. Does anyone have the full schedule for this weekend at Loudon??
  8. I don't attend alot of games, but the student section at Loudon High School is awesome. They paint theirselves and stand and yell the entire game. The support they give their team is incredible. The players play hard and respect them for their team spirit. I have seen them wear helmets and even look like super heroes. The spider-man guy a few weeks ago was cool. I think it is alot of the football players supporting the basketball team team in return from football season. Great job guys!! Go REDSKINS!!
  9. Anyone know the score of Loudon vs. McMinn Central scrimmage? Details of who looked good or bad?
  10. Coach Gibson was a great coach, but he was also a great man. He will never be forgotten by the LOUDON REDSKINS family. We love you coach, Thanks for all you did on and off the field. Once a Redskin, always a Redskin!!

The Redskins showed a sign of life last year by taking the state champs down to the wire. They didn't lose alot to graduation so the future looks better. They will have to have alot of young kids step up and be ready to play. Tyler Campbell will be key to keep teams from keying so much on Hawkins. Other sophs. that will be counted on will be Cosner in the line of scrimmage. These two will play a big part of the Redskins success. With 13 or 14 seniors leadership should not be an issue as long as the coaches will handle the discipline from day one! Seems to be alot of individuals that want to do their on thing. Go back to the old Redskin ways "My way or the highway". Good luck to the Skins', I'll be cheering you on!!
  12. Cosner pitched a 1 or 2 hitter last week against Campbell Co. They were not very good, but still an impressive outing. I would say Cosner and McNew both will be the future of the Redskins in '07-'08, and will be counted on next year come Tournament time.
  13. The Redskins should be very good next season. Blake Cosner should take Worley's spot at catcher and also add a left-handed bat for the next three years. Defensively he is very good with a good arm. Mark Navarro proved in the state that he is definitely the # 2 man. With Mark stepping up that gives Loudon a very good 1-2 punch and left-hander McNew #3. The pitching will be deeper than ever. If the bats stay hot it will be a very successful 2006!! Go Redskins!!
  14. It's to bad it will not get to continue. They will play for the next two years and that's it. Lenoir City decided not to play Loudon anymore in any sport after this year. They have to play in football because the schedule was already made when this was decided. This is not only a huge rivalry being cut, but a financially ignorant mistake on LC's part.
  15. Good luck to the Mavericks. The Redskins hope to see you Wednesday. Keep hittin it, they will fall eventually.
  16. 2 Hit by Pitch. 6 walks and at least 4 errors. I don't believe you call those earned runs?? Sorry, but good try. Look forward to seeing you @ Loudon.
  17. Kingston won 4-2. Both teams pitched well. The difference was Loudon made alot of errors in the infield. All were routine plays that they just didn't make. The Kingston pitcher really did a good job. The kid deserves some credit. Loudon will have to sit back and watch to see if they can capture another district title. Should be an interesting next week of baseball!
  18. Loudon has a real good freshmen catcher also. I'm not sure what his name is but he is very good behind the plate. Blocks up well and calls a great game. They also have an outfielder that is very good. Both of these kids will be really good the next few years. They both hit the ball very well.
  19. Worley is an excellent defensive catcher and has improved his hitting over the winter. Definitely the best in the district. He also is a good leader on the team.
  20. Loudon will probably have at least 6 freshmen on varsity. With 3-4 seeing alot of playing time. Cosner, Campbell, Powell, and McNew are all good players.
  21. I know they play Loudon March 12 in a Tournament @ Oak Ridge. Should be a pretty good match-up.
  22. Loudon has a couple of good freshmen pitchers in Blake McNew and Blake Cosner. McNew is a lefty and Cosner a righty. Should be a good combo for years.
  23. Is the game between Loudon vs. LC still on for Friday? 6:30?
  24. Coach Brown did a very good job last night with the situation. I think the kids actually got to enjoy the game. They played hard and that's all you can ask of them. The fan support was great. Yes, we did lose but don't get used to winning LC, because we all no those days are about over! Go Redskins!
