Had you read my post carefully you would have noticed that I said Reid had starters in way past the 35-0 mark. That is a fact. The Daily Times lists 11 TDs by starters. Sommer 2, Lanxter 3, Duck 3, Warren 1, Shiverdecker 1, Love 1. 77 points by starters is running it up That is a fact.

When a team is so bad that you get to 35-0 or even 42-0 in the 1st half it is time to pull the starters. Reid had starters in way way past that. The starters are getting nothing from being on the field with what amounts to a freshmen team. Eventually one of his stars will get hurt when he is trying to run the score up. Karma.

Alcoa will not win state this year for three reasons. 1. The loss of Rae Sykes. 2. The big head. 3. Karma (Reid's lack of class will bite him in the behind.) They will get to the final game and lose.

Actually Hammontree had little to do with it. Hammontree's Maryville teams were awful until GQ came to the staff. Had GQ not come to Maryville and Hammontree stayed at Maryville they would not have had the success they have had over the past five years. Ask Hammontree how his stint in Georgia went.

How many players play both ways for Mo. West? And who are they?

The loss of Rae Sykes will become more and more evident as Alcoa moves through the playoffs. It won't matter against CAK but it will next week against Loudon. Next year Alcoa's talent will be significantly less and the year after that they won't be scoring no 91 points in their wildest dreams. Karma is gonna be wicked for Reid in the near future.

If you think Maryville has played a cupcake schedule, then you obviously know very little about football.

Maybe Reid runs up the score out of frustration from always being dominated by GQ and company?

I have seen both teams play and I feel confident that Red Bank will win by two TDs. The only way Red Bank will lose is if they turn the ball over a bunch. Sorry Halls...it will be deja vu all over again.

Bottom line is Reid has little man's syndrome. Because of this he likes to run up the score on weaker opponents. He takes out the starters late and when he puts the 2nd teamers in the game he has no problem throwing bombs late in the 4th quarter--and it is always worse at home games. Stuff like that makes the entire program look classless.

Helton is twice the coach Hammontree is. Central by 21 points.

Hammontree is way overated. His first two years at Maryville his teams were terrible. Then he hires GQ as offensive coordinator and things pick up. Since Hammontree left Maryville he has done nothing. In Georgia his teams were awful and he got run out of town. So far in Rhea Co. his teams have done little. Helton on the other hand has produced big time over that past 8-10 years. If not for GQ, Helton would likely have a few gold balls since 2000.

Central will absolutely dominate!!!!!!!!

If you think Hammontree is a better coach than Helton, then you obviously are high on something or you know very little about coaching.

I guess Hammontree gets to get pounded by Central rather than his old team from Maryville.

I too hate it for Rae. I am sure Alcoa has solid backups but none that could even dream of being half as good as Rae. Rae is a beast! He will be greatly missed. Especially late in the playoffs.

You can't replace a player like Rae. I have watched Alcoa play several times this year and he is just as good of a defensive end as Brandon Warren. Alcoa needs to have some people step up big time.

I would like to see Rhea Co. lose so that they can face Maryville in the 1st round. It is always a show when Hammontree comes back to Maryville.
