i have to agree with you hamptonbigdogs this game should be played with good sportsmanship and no takeing cheap shots because that could runion akids chance of ever playiny football or any other sport specially if they was planning on goig to college to play hope the best of luck to both teams and good sportsman ship from players,coaches and fans. i think cloudland takes this one by a touchdown but my opinion would be try to stay heathy for the play offs thats where every thing is on the line having region title means nothing if your best players cant play because you push them to do more than they can do to see who is going to be the better school or just to have bragging rights ithick we should support both schools as they are going to be playing in the playoffs and playing some good talented players so good luck to both teams and try to stay heathy for the playoffs CLOUDLAND 20 HAMPTON 14

I havent heard any rumors like that pujo,i dont think they would be that stupid.everyone needs to just get over the lunsford deal he is at hampton now so let it be cloudland can still win ballgames without him coach keith is doing a good job i do think they need to add a few more offensive plays though they still sometimes remind me of john orr teams of the past,good defense but not enough offense especially in critical situations calling the same play over and over wont get it done.as far as your brother goes i think jealousy is the biggest problem with a select few people who like to just start rumors he still has alot of friends in roan mtn.love him or hate him the fact remains that cloudland became other teams nightmares while he was there cloudland is the only team in northeast tn. that i can remember going to play for a state championship who knows he might end up back at cloudland one of these days

This should be one heck of a game,if cloudland keeps their cool they should be able to win in a close one,happy valley had alot of personal fouls because of a couple players couldnt keep their cool.if cloudland can contain townsend and tackle good or should i say better than they did at unaka,you better make sure you wrap up townsend cause he doesnt go down easy he's not only shifty he has good strength to go with it,if they can stop him then they will win if not then its hamptons ballgame.one thing ive noticed about townsend is he likes to get going outside then turn it back inside because of over pursuit by the defense he gets alot of big runs that way if cloudland can remedy that they should be ok.

the way i see it pujo,cosby could have spoiled hamptons homecoming if it werent for some costly mistakes late in the game like going for that fake punt on 4th down and 3 deep in their side of the field(bad coaching decision there) they also had a chance to score just before halftime but stalled i believe it was only 8-0 in hamptons favor going into the 4th quarter though all that rain may have had some effect on the game but hampton sure looked vulnerable to me,dont get me wrong hampton has a great team but i think they will get a big surprise when they play cloudland

I doubt that cloudlands enrollment was over 200 students back then,my opinion about trousdale moving back down to 1-A is you cant really blame them they have seen a chance to win a couple more state championships. the one to blame for this is the TSSAA for changing the enrollment for each class when they installed the multiplier,which was good that it made alot of the better privates move up a class or two but 1-A still got the shaft because it let alot of the better 2-A schools move down to 1-A it seems they just have to make as hard as possible for a true 1-A school to win state

unaka gave hampton a hard time in the first quarter i was impressed by the way they were playing,hampton got it going after that though,i too was impressed with the roop kid he has really improved since the last time i saw him play, unaka couldnt do anything with him even with their double team he just pushed them aside i think they got a little dirty at the last there blocking him in the knees that could end a kids season

pujo,i cant blame you for sticking with your brother like you said blood is thicker than water,but you know as well as i do cloudland will be tough to beat.I think alot of people are still upset that he left cloudland like he did, i agree that mike helped build their program to what it is today but he couldnt have done it without the good athletes he has been blessed with over the years.it just doesnt make me sense to me to have a program that successful then just up and leave.cloudland has a good group of coaches and kids that can still make it tough for hampton no matter who is coaching there,i like both schools but when they are playing each other im for cloudland all the way.i guess ill be watching hampton play unaka this week since i wont be making the trip to williamsburg,ky.ill be pulling for hampton in that one,GOOD LUCK HAMPTON AND CLOUDLAND BOTH THIS WEEK CLOUDLAND 21-14 OVER WILLIAMSBURG,KY.
