I clicked on the football section figuring it would take me to a page to sign up for the plus but it took me into football! Seems that it is free right now for spring updates or something. It was so good to find a thread about the upcoming play day in MP! Whenever they close it I will join.

DON'T rush it, trust me, it'll be over before you're ready for it to be. Mine will be a senior next season and I still can't believe that he's already played 3 years. You wait forever on them to get through pop warner and middle school, but high school football FLIES by! The first game of his freshman year, when they played the national anthem, I remember wanting to cry and thinking 'this is it, the beginning of the end!!'. Well, I had to dig for it but I finally found something I could post on pertaining to MP! How are we doing in the district? I haven't heard anybody say. I think we only have 2 losses in the district so far, a close one to Wayne Co and Summertown (we play them again tonight).

Just so I can post something a tiny bit relevant to the discussion (which rarely happens) I don't know what seed Richland was last year but we were 2nd in our district and they put us out. I hate that I didn't get to meet any of the coach t'ers last Friday. I did meet Shep, logger, predarat, and red devil something (not mascot) last year at MP but didn't have the chance to see anyone this time, as my husband ran off and left me there at the end. That was an awesome game, as all the JB/MP games have been. I was very surprised that there was not a tv camera there. Their loss.

I agree with you totally. I would like to add that 2 years ago was the coldest I've ever been at a high school game. The weather turns cold again Thursday or Friday according to the weather. I hope it holds out til Saturday though.

I didn't think the pass was 10 yds behind him. It looked 5 yds to the side of him to me. I know nothing though. I'm tired of reading about what our coach ought to be doing differently, as I happen to think he knows what he's doing. Tell me something about Jo Byrns' team. Go Tigers!

I want to say that it was good to see Cascade 11 again and to meet Treyvols and Texasinmactown and his son. I haven't been on here since last Saturday night and I haven't read any of the posts, so I don't know what anyone else thinks, but in my opinion that game last night was our best game since Lewis Co. Saturday night. We came out fired up and never let up. The crowd was fantastic. We have the best atmosphere of anywhere I have ever watched a high school football game. It was an awesome night. Way to go Tigers! Anyone still think y'all don't have heart?

I can tell I will NOT be able to be on coach t this week. Whoever said that ANYBODY plays with more heart than MP has rocks in his head. How many injuries have we had to deal with this year??? We had FOUR starters out last night, and it seems like we've had at least one person hurt for every game this year, but somebody has always stepped up. Cascade is obviously a great team and I don't know what all they've had to deal with and I take nothing away from their success, but we have had less than ideal conditions to work with this year and have still made it to the second round, for pete's sake! This is probably just the mama in me taking it too personally but statements like that make me sick. Cascade 11, I look forward to seeing you and anyone else that comes by the tailgate. Go Tigers! (I wanted to add that my predictions were correct!)

No boys from Hampshire this year, I don't think. The Daily Disappointment reported last week that Demario has signed with MTSU to play basketball and he has also spoken with the football coach and may try to do both in a couple of years.

Yes, we were gluttons for punishment and came up for the next game after y'all beat us there 2 years ago. Y'all played Union City, I think. It was terribly cold (again) and I went to the car. I would have liked to have watched y'alls game last Friday night, but it's too long of a drive if I don't have a child out there playing!

Here are my predictions, for what they are worth (very little, I know). MP over McEwen WC over WHH (this may be close, but I know nothing about WHH) CW/Cascade (not real sure, but I think Cascade could have the edge) JB over MC (I will be shocked if JB doesn't win, but what do I know?)
