Not to surprising of a result. South's apparent game plan was to shut down Geno thus shutting down DB's offense seem to work well. Good luck to south against Science hill should be a fun one to watch. Classless red cards after the game from DB... really hope this trend will stop.

RendragMD, I usually never post but your statement is just ridiculous. With only 3 returning starters and almost 40 new players you really think this is DB's greatest team???? if they make it to the state finals, then maybe they could be considered but this team has not played anyone of note. I live in SC and saw a few of the games. Dutch Fork, then #3 in SC has dropped out of the top 15. Science hill lost 2-0 to an Oak Ridge team that tied Sullivan South. My friend upper East Tennessee soccer is way down. I myself i am very impressed with what this team has done so far but until they convincingly beat a Bearden of Farragutt, I dont think they are contenders. Geno is a phenom however and is able to carry DB on his shoulders. DB only goes as far as he can take them.

At the Dobyns-Bennett vs Boone game, A linesman collaped in a seizure and was taken off the field by ambulance. Not to long ago, a ref had a heart attack during a Science hill game and died. Luckily i dont think the seizure was life-threatening but prayers would be kind.

haha yeah well it cant hurt can it?? And plus its much more entertaining than kicking into a net or against a wall for hours upon hours.

Two guys on our team went to a camp in brazil last summer. They came back with a new take on the game as well as some interesting language. I personally recommend the Ralph Lundy camp though i have heard Duke is really good as well.

Lately i decided to pick up a hacky sack and brush up on my skills. I have notice that my volleys have greatly improved as well as some other skills. I was just wondering if others players actually use this as a tool or just to have fun with.

Chizaggi, i really dont think yall will have to much trouble. South is pretty experienced up front and in the midfield but the defense is thier weakness.

Number 8, I don't believe i've ever questioned any of the scores you have posted even though some (like the farragut game) were not expected. I dont see why anyone would post wrong information on this site but ill make sure to double check next time just for you.

I couldn't be happier for Lucas. After all he has gone through this season he really deserves that win. On another note, this should prove to all you doubters that DB is for real this year and can get past the knoxville guys later in the season when it matters.

Ha no im kidding its just some sarcasm for the people who get on here trying to make thier players sound alot better then they actually are.

I dunno. I'm pretty sure he is alot faster than Ronaldhino.. i would put him at around a 4.32 40 time. Plus with a body like Vince Young, he is pretty much unstoppable.

Enough of the he said she said stuff.. its getting old. Tonight is the big Science hill-DB game. DB is coming of some strong conference wins against jefferson county (14-3?) and South (11-1) DB has arguably one of the best teams in the east if not the state.. Does science hill stand a chance against the mighty arm of tyler joyce and the bats of the juniors?

I was wondering when someone was going to mention this guy. The things he does with the ball are unbelievable.. i would compare him to a young Ronaldhino.... maybe better.

Chizaggi - thank for the comment. We came out dead and they scored 2 quick goals complements of a fantastic player, eddie yah. but now we know we can play with them when it comes districts. Number 8- First off, say D-B if you cant spell Dobyns-Bennett. Secondly know that the game could have gone both ways with both teams having multiple oppertunities. Watch out in the districts.

Greenville played pretty solid against us but that was just a scrimmage. They are very fast and physical upfront but i thought their defence wasn't together.. maybe thats where those basketball players come in.. we play them again on tuesday and i am really looking forward to it.

Actually there are quite a lot of schools in East tennessee with a Swimming program. Dobyns-Bennett, Science hill, tennessee high, Elizibethton, Sullivan South, Greenville, and morristown just to name a few. The Season starts at the beginning of november and last till the state meet which is usually held at the end of febuary. Think of it like Track because its basically the same sort of set up with Meets and individual times. Science hill has a Phenom freshman that is deffinatly Division 1 talent, maybe even Olympic. Kyle owens is he name and at a recent meet he broke 3 school records which is insane to say the least. I predict that if he doesn't burn out, he will own every single school record at a school thats had a swim team for over 3 decades.

Dobyns-Bennett's Junior class is stacked. People have been talking about them since the 7th grade. As Freshman they beat South 35-0 and went 10-0, The most wins for a freshman team ever at DB. I cant promise a State championship, but they will have the most dominating Defense in the state.

Man this White House school must be awesome cause i hear that they have a killer golf team as well as the best quarterback.

Im going to throw one out there : Josh Vasquez, sophmore from dobyns-bennett. Last meet he ran a 16:15. Just think of what he could accomplish in 2 more years. Todd Smalling is a freaking beast no question.

Alright heres my opinion on the matter. Coach McCloskey is NOT behind the eurosport poll. Yes he is a very knowlegeable and respected coach so i could see why some people would think he was behind it. But the fact of the matter is, coach has been in and out of the hospital for the past few weeks with some complications from a knee surgery. I really dont think that coach would even spend time making a poll like this and believe me, i know him well. Also the swimmer causing all these problems needs to be quiet. You know who you are.

Man i can not wait for the Science Hill - DB game... its going to be a good un. Compared to the 2003 game, Science is better whereas DB isn't quite up to caliber. Yes, the Big East is deffinently starting to heat up.

Most of the Dobyns-Bennett girls have the headgear and i must say that they have improved with their air game. I think it gives them more confidence to go for the ball in the air and not be afraid. In my opinion, i dont think you will see many, if any at all, boy teams wearing it.

DB is the team to beat this year since they have won 2 straight.
