  1. Alcoa has always had a nice pool of talent and always will and as a plus a a great football foundation that starts with the little kids. Alcoa is slowly growing in size which in the long run will benefit the program, and hopefully one day we will see Alcoa with at least 500 students. Also people like to play for winning teams and that helps bring in the county kids into Alcoa and Maryville.
  2. This one will not be close at all! Alcoa beat CAK 56-7 and Loudon held Alcoa to 28 points and Loudon should have scored at least once. Overall Loudon has a way better taeam than CAK...Loudon 35-14
  3. Heelsfan don't you mean Alcoa beat CAK by 49, but yeah words won't describe how bad Alcoa will beat OS and Rockwood and Sweetwater.
  4. From what I heard about the AE and Catholic game AE had the ball in the redzone and past the 50 plenty of times but couldn't capitalize on it. Turnovers, mistakes, and sloppy play also cost AE the game, but I don't think they will make such mistakes again...AE ahead in this one 28-17
  5. I think Alcoa's state matchup will be with Huntingdon. Huntingdon has lost to Westview, but not by much and I think they will take it back in the playoffs and for Milan well there test comes later in the season when they have to play Huntingdon and Westview and then we'll see how good they are.
  6. Maryville has a great defense that I think is better this year than last. A very good run offense and excellent coaching staff will make the difference in this game. Central has a very good team, but not enough to take it to the Rebs this year. I see Maryville on top 28-17.
  7. Yes Alcoa can be beat, but unfortunately not anyone in 2A...this year.
  8. Good job Alcoa on the 28-0 shutout. Thought Alcoa would at least put in one more, but good effort.
  9. Lets see here... Greenback, Sweetwater, and Lenoir City. Thats all-star right there...I guess Loudon is top-notch with a 19-0 victory over Sweetwater! Alcoa watch out can't go up against a team like that... haha!
  10. Thats right you're not alcoa, but I do not think Powell can pull it off on Maryville. I think Maryville's defense is as good as last year which is championship quality and the run game will not be stopped by Powell.
  11. In my opinion I don't think too many people need to worry about players from Louisiana coming and taking starting positions because most of them will be average players not the best of the best. Any team that does get any players at all from Louisiana will be rare also. I think most will go to Texas, Arkansas, Alababma, and other locations near Lousiana. If a player from Louisiana does take a starting position then I would hope that the player who lost his position would come out and play as hard and the best of his ability to gain his position back or another's.
  12. From what Daily Times and News Sentinel said when asking Coach Reid about the incident from their tapes you couldn't really see the incident. So for the replay I wouldn't think it would matter much if its not really visible.
  13. Rockwood will be getting better coming up, but next year Alcoa will take it.
  14. Alcoa just needs to take a couple of weeks and get their football players back into basketball and since Alcoa had what like 5 or 6 players before the football guys came back doesn't say much for tonight. Wait until the football players get in shape for basketball......HAHAHA!!!! I was one of the guys that threw toilet paper on the court last year.....it was so funny!!
  15. Just as long as it has a catchy name....b/c all I know is that Maryville will always have their rebel flags and Alcoa will always have their shredded ones. There will always be the attempts to pull a big prank on each others school and a lot of people getting caught, Alcoa's unauthorized parade through Maryville that is always broken up year after year, and thats how it will stay.
  16. Thats definately the same Bell from Oak Ridge
  17. Its Dustin Lindsey and no he tied the record with 42 very close to breaking it but just didn't get it
  18. From tonights performance I see Alcoa and Huntingdon playing for the championship next year without a doubt.
  19. Man I was so stressed out over that game watching all of it....it was like 2 cloned teams coming to play for the championship. It was so gut-wrenching....I was yelling for Alcoa to get on the ball. Intense....very intense!!!
  20. I'm from Alcoa, but Boo was drillin it. Ya'll were good you ran it all over us. Its crazy how the 4th quarter stand up changed the game so quick.
  21. That was by far the best game. Congrats to Alcoa for takin the ball home. Tonights game will definately be the most talked about game this weekend.
  22. Alcoa might not have had the toughest schedule but we are for real 20-6 takin it down
  23. haha that was good totally unexpected by our defense
  24. Yeah we have always had trouble with kicks can't find a good kicker to connect most of the time we will go for it on the 4th if we can
  25. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
