It was a great game. These two teams had played two game that came down to the wire in the regular season. As for questionable calls, every game has them, including this one. Petty's (#10) steal and drive to the basket with a defender hanging all over her and no call was made (questionable). Next play, another steal and a questionable charge called on Petty. Every game has them. Creek Wood was able to keep their heads about them and played through them.

I hate to disagree w/ you, but Creek Wood's district record as of today is 5-5. They have defeated Fairview twice, Waverly once and Stewart Co. twice. Losses to Harpeth(2), Sycamore(2), and Mont. Cent.(1). This week they play Cheatham twice and Waverly on Friday. The inaccurate info has to do with the game they played at Stewart Co. It is posted as a win for SC when if fact, Creek Wood won.

Looking forward to a great game. These teams match up well against each other. Personally, I hope CW can come away with the W. Good Luck "P".

16U AAU Basketball team based in Dickson County is looking for a post player for National tournament in Orlando June 10-17. Requirements-AAU card and must have played in AAU sub-state tournament. MONTGOMERY CENTRAL , FAIRVIEW AND BELLVUE MIDDLE WERE THE OPTIONS BEING LOOKED AT LAST NIGHT. I THINK NOT LETTING HARPETH OR ANY OTHER TEAM WHO HAS WON THE RIGHT TO HOST IS RIDICULOUS. AS FOR CHEATHAM'S EXIT FROM THE GYM, DID YOU ACTUALLY EXPECT THEM TO SHOW ANY CLASS. THEY COULD ALL LEARN A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM TEAM MEMBER ABBY LAWSON.

what are you talking about? have u not seen this girl play? baines is as much a team player as i've ever seen. she does her job and does it well. she doesn't try to over-do it or show out. i would say anyone signing with a college to play ball already has their act together.

i agree with tn 33. atteberry didn't have a standout season, ellis did. she's got the most all-around game in the district, except for maybe lawson. but i dont see her getting it this year, but i'll bank on her for next year.

what is the full schedule for the tournament? i know who plays who, but when and what time? also, everyone keeps posting their all-district picks, but only for cheatham and harpeth. who are the other all-district players from the other 10-AA teams?

harpeth and cheatham will go 1,2. i think every other team in the district, besides waverly, and only b/c they face cheatham in the first round, has a chance for third. #3 Sycamore vs. #6 Creek Wood - sycamore won both match-ups, but now that their junior post player is out with a knee injury i think they'll be down a little. #4 Stewart Co. vs. #5 Montgomery Central -they split the regular season games. i say SC will win with home court advantage. what do you all think the outcome of these two games will be?

if the forfeits by cheatham stand , harpeth will definately be first, what about the other 5 teams in the district. how will the cheatham forfeits, if it goes through, affect the standings?

i believe they meet again on feb. 12 @ cc, but you might want to double check that date.

creekood has never had the luxury of upperclassmen. being only 3 years old, the program has had to always rely on their freshman talent. junior sarah petty #10 has started at pt. guard since her freshman year. taylor fayette #3 and samantha adams #30 also started last year as freshmen. darden is one in a line of freshmen who have been asked to step up in their freshman year and contribute.
