I think Marion will be riding the big MO after their win over the Bucs. Marion by 3 tds. One thing that is bothering me and no one that I have seen or heard has mentioned yet is, the Warriors have not scored in the first half of either ball game. I dont think the Warriors can keep this up and be successful. Can someone tell me who the QB is for the Jackets. Mainard or Seals. If it is Mainard, is Seals the running back. If it is Seals, is Mainard getting any playing time. Or is it someone totally different?

I think anytime a Marion County team takes the field it has a chance to win. Will they have the most talented team or even the best team come Friday nite. I dont know. Yes Marion did lose to Murphy, and yes Murphy did lose this past week to Franklin. I think that the week off gives Marion time to improve and learn from what apparently went wrong in Murphy. And Jim, If you are going to quote scores and stuff such as that, you need to get it right. Murphy got beat 50-6 by Franklin which is a 3A school. Good luck to the Warriors .

yes i do. Bledsoe wins 20 -- 14. Talking to Snipe this morning, Jasper had a 14 point lead then lost it as two starters went down with injuries. Jasper had a chance to win it in the last few minutes but failed to score from the 1 yard line. A costly penalty on a play that the warriors scored on cost them 5 yards and the touchdown and they could not find the endzone from there. Tough loss but I think everything will be fine for the young warriors. :justwrestle:

I dont know how it all ended last year but I do believe that Dunlap won the tournament. I think there is a new coach at Jasper Middle. After losing more games this past year than the school has ever lost , the administration thought it best to go another direction. All current coaches have been relieved of their coaching duties but do remain at the school. I do not expect a formal annoncment from the AD or the school administration. The new coach will probably introduced at the annual coaches' meeting in November. Whom ever the new coach is, I wish him all the luck in the world.

Great article. I only wish our local papers here in Jasper and South Pitt. would cover our Middle School games. Anyway, like I said in another post, Snipe only reloads. The warriors defeated the Dayton city school 8-0. This was without some of there expected top players. Good luck warriors the rest of the season. Go "G".
