Actually it was big Cedric Harris , who was wearing number 77 for some strange reason instead of his normal number 79, who brought the lumber to Cunningham and laid him out cold for about 30 seconds. Crocker was impressive as well and showed a lot of toughness running the ball. I think we're in pretty good shape now to take on USJ and Humboldt. Looking at the region standings and the way things are, our playoffs start this week at USJ.

Actually we will know the correct scenario of who needs to beat who this coming saturday, oct. 21. Just read the Jackson Sun after this fridays games. Thats correct, 9th graders attend Northeast Middle School, along with the 8th graders, which is located a few hundred feet from Fayette Ware high school, so i dont understand the logic of the housing situation. Are the 9th graders allowed to play, since they are not actually attending classes at Fayette Ware?

What game were you watching? That was the poorest effort by a football team i've seen in many years. As far as going deep into the playoffs, I doubt they even make the playoffs with region matchups like Trenton, Milan and Humboldt on the horizon. They are not even county champs!

Yes, Crocker and most of the regular starters all played tonight. They cannot use injuries as an excuse. It was just an extremely poor effort by the defense, the pass rush was non existent, and it gave the Mckenzie qb time to pick apart the secondary. The offensive line also gave up some big sacks of Crocker at some very critical times. Reminded me of the Camden game at times. Grade the O line and secondary an F, and give ole Mansfield a big F for not having his team ready to play on homecoming. First loss at home since the Milan game of '03, first homecoming loss since who knows when. Good job to Mckenzie, they were obviously ready to play.

I agree, the only thing worse than the smell from the hogfarm next to the field(and what's up with that anyway?) was the character of the dresden football team. Obviously they are not very well coached. I've seen more discipline from inner-city memphis teams, which are nothing short of streetgangs.

i think you have a problem that goes far deeper than just football. i know a lot of people from milan and while they may not like it when we win, they do not "hate" the people of huntingdon for it. go examine yourself hackinbad
