  1. If that's true, then I don't think that its right. The team getting throttled should have the choice. Game experience is too valuable. Does anyone know how and if they have a mercy rule in other states? Curious. Thanks, Grizz.
  2. I know this is pretty much an automatic loss for RBS, but they've atleast been able to score some on the jv boys. What happened? How long did FCS keep their starters in? I've heard the coach (shoulders) isn't liked much by some area coaches. How bad do they lose to Trousdale? I've seen them and they look like state champ repeat.
  3. I wanna say that the team getting thumped has the option on this mercy rule and can tell the refs they want the clock ran normal. Does anybody know for sure?
  4. you gotta be kiddin me! Whats happened to Rbs after starting out 2-0! Yes, they were supposed to get beat this game, but 47-6--from what I here, it could've been 97-0 if G-ville kept starters in. Looks like a new streak has started. I'm dissapointed in RBS. You were supposed to do better than this! Looks like you beat 2 very pitiful teams and couldn't beat a pitiful Sunbright team. Not trying to demoralize yall, just trying to motivate. I really hate G-Ville and I'm mad that you let them walk all over you. you suck, RBS!
  5. Can we get a report on this game? Dawgs 2008, can you tell us what happened? Rbs was supposed to beat this team. And do they (RBS) have a chance of winning any more this season?--gonna be tough in that district.
  6. Who is the Blond Boy Wonder? and what's up with him?
  7. Sorry, but I'm gonna ask maybe a dumb question...Did the current coaches at RBS come over from Macon Co.? Why did they leave Macon Co. And also, why did last years coach resign after only 1 year? It seems like coaches dont stay very long anywhere these days. Most good programs seem like they have the same coaches for years and years.
  8. Wow. I really thought RBS would do better. I guess this is where reality in this tough district begins for the dawgs. I hope that they will keep their spirits up and keep plugging away until they get that "signature win" on someone other than Oakdale, Pickett, or Sunbright. Where's the feedback from Dawgs2008? Can you give the RBS perspective of this rout. 50-0!! Come on!!!
  9. How did the game go? I figured RBS win streak would end, but not 50-0. Did Wtown leave starters in the whole game? Why couldn't they score? And what are their chances at Clay?
  10. Hey, aint trying to take away from that awesome comeback win bulldogs, but I heard the refs were in your back pockets...especially at the end of the game when the clock stopped when it shouldve kept running, allowing RBS to get the 4th down td pass. If clock kept running the play would not have happened. Again, I'm not trying to take away from that awesome comeback. Good Luck Dawgs the rest of the season!! Gotta love momma's home cookin'!
  11. Congrats to Rbs! 2-0! Must feel awesome. How did the game go? How was RBS able to pull it off? And can RBS compete with the rest of their opponents? I'm rootin for ya every game. Go Dawgs!
  12. Sorry for using the term, "cellar dweller". Meant no disrespect to RBS or Pickett. Just trying to get the fans fired-up. I started the RBS-O-dale thread and got no response until I insulted them, so I figured I'd start out doing that.. Anyway, lets hear some reports from both sides. What are your predictions?? Mine is still RBS21-12. I hope RBS isn't forced to pass...passing game looked shaky vs. Oakdale. Good luck Dawgs and Bobcats, I hope its a great game.
  13. I think that RBS should beat Pickett this year. I've heard that RBS had the better team the past 2 yrs of this cellar dwellar rivalry but just had no luck. Heard that RBS had like 8 turnovers last yr. So I sayif RBS doesn't turnover they'll win. I'd appreciate any input from RBS or Pickett folks on their team...I'm a gamblin man you see...and I like 2 make informed bets. Don't have a cow...I bet on games but not much...$15-$20 at the most on a game. I bet $50 one time on a college game (and WON!) thats the most I've ever bet on a game. I have buddies who bet $100's per week--on H.S. and even JUNIOR HIGH/MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL!! So don't flame me. I love HS and Jr. high football with or without gambling. Anyway, lets hear something from you cellar dwellars...show you have some kind of PRIDE for your community by standing behind your boys who bust their butts in that hot sun to entertain you on Friday night. As of now , I say RBS 21-Pickett 12...but that could change based on info. ...Who's hurt, etc. Go Dawgs! Go Bobcats!
  14. Knew yall could do it. Now get ready 4 Pickett. Gonna try to be there. Go Dawgs!
  15. I knew yall could win. Great Job! I was there and ya looked pretty good. It must feel great to finally win a game. Did the town have a parade or any kind of celebration? Yall deserve it. As of right now, I'm pickin yall to beat Pickett, but lets wait to see how they do against Oakdale this week. Again, Great Job Dawgs--Man, yall's crowd was FIRED UP, as were the players. Go Dawgs!
