I hope both teams come ready to play and leave healthy and let the scoreboard do the talking when it is all said and done.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Coalfield back in the hunt for another deep playoff run. Lots of size and talent for such a small school. Plus Coach Henry seems to able to put together a good game plan and his players execute. This team should be fun to watch.

The Bobcats will have to bring their A game. They will be at a size disadvantage and alot of unknowns with players coming back from injury. Plus I'm sure Kingston will come in fired up. Turnovers and penalties seem to always play a part in a big rivalry game. It's gonna take a complete team effort and the breaks are gonna have to go their way but I'm taking The big purple in an upset.

Coalfield Sunbright Wartburg Oakdale Coalfield played a 3A Bledsoe county off it's feet at there place. Carries a little more weight than Monterey for Me. Sunbright has and I am guessing averaged 3 wins a yr for the last 20 yrs? Wartburg I just cannot bring myself to say anything good about and poor little Oakdale.

Parents need to keep there noses out of team business. The coach's are in charge of the team not the parents and there were no heat rules when we played we were fine. Parents have made these kids soft.

No more running of at the mouth Oneida shut my big'un up for me......BUT win or lose... I gaurentee a physical football game. Go Bobcats!

First I have to say...I haven't read any new posts yet. I'm gonna respond to the game first.... Oneida is a class act. They controlled the line of scrimmage on offense and defense and played very smart football in the second half milking every second off the clock on every down and making almost every 3rd down conversion they were faced with. 24 runs down hill everytime he touches the ball. He looks to have a great future. I was made to feel welcome by the home fans and even thanked for coming and told to be careful on the way home by an old man I was talking to at half time. The weather sucked but in this game I don't believe it mattered one iota THE BETTER TEAM WON! I have always said and will continue to say because Lord knows I can dish it out...Don't dish it out if you can't take it. Congrats Oneida on a great win and a classy performance and thanks to the Oneida fans for a great football environment and the only complaint I have and this is just a testament to GREAT FANS! and A TRUE HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE!.......take notice O.S. fans....the cowbells sucked I was the loudest guy there and even I can't get louder than the cowbells... Oh!....1 more thing. If you didn't get one of those Hotdogs tonight you missed out. Great Hotdogs. Thanks Oneida. maybe you opened our boys eyes and gave em the wake up call they need. it seems over confidence is easily gained around here. Not that a overconfidence had a flippin thing to do with the dominate performance you guys had tonight. It just seems that a couple of wins and WE...myself included...think We're world beaters when we really need to focus and play harder and eliminate mistakes. I'm not so sure what tradition has to do with it. I'll be the first to admit TN has alot more tradition that goes back 100 yrs and Florida's tradition only goes back about 13 yrs but the Gators are 9-4 in those 13 yrs....... This is about this team and this year and this game...not what happened 13 years ago when Coalfield was kicking your ####! I enjoyed beating Oneida...Which we did 3 out of the 4 yrs I played! This team...This year....This game! The Bobcats are ready for this year for this game..........to start their own TRADITION! Go Bobcats! Go Gators!

I'm sorry Mr. I know all the nicknames for the Oneida team guy.....it isn't about big time high school football and it isn't about what might be on the line in this game..even though I did say region championship....it's about lining up and beating the man across from you down after down. It's about who wants it more and sacrifice....it's about time. One more day closer to me and the rest of the O.S. clan rolling inot oneida and finding out what we're made of.....YOU..... oneida have played a hard schedule and WE..... O.S. layed a huge egg against Grundy....YOU oneida have proven yourself to be GREAT and OUTSTANDING! FAST and FASTER is the nickname I have heard "speaking of nicknames"for the 2 brothers who transfered in? O.S. has proven themselves to be a team who has a game at oneida friday night.... Rockem sockem hard nosed intestinal fortitude fortified disciplined assignment football! That's what it's gonna take to win Friday and I'm gonna be there to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!
